Moving around NY is a challenge, moving to NY from anywhere else is downright hell on wheels. If you are moving to NY from anywhere else outside of the city, there is a 99% chance you are going from having a decent amount of space to «what the hell is this»? So here comes storage.
I was at another storage facility when I first came to NY and experienced property damage, rent increases without proper notification, and rude customer service. After a recommendation to give TI a try, it was a night and day experience. As a girl, it is nice to know your not walking into a scene from a horror movie when trying to go to your unit. Its well lit, well staffed, carts are available, and the tenants are really nice and we all lend each other a hand if needed. Billing is clear and there are no sneaky little switch-a-roos with fees. All in all, if you can’t fit all your stuff in the place where you live, its nice to know its somewhere easy to get to and safe.

Terrible company, dishonest. Avoid at all costs. Yes, you can dispute it all you want. They do not return customer telephone calls. It took the threat of police action to get manager on the phone.
Said manager was rude, obnoxious, and generally caused me grief. I intend to go elsewhere. Save yourself the aggravation, go somewhere else.
