Ew. My husband thought there would be a true meal provided here so we went … But it was just some dodgy hot dishes(everything clearly came in a big plastic bag and was dumped into boiling water to prepare) and very low end cold cuts and salads. I’m not finicky but I couldn’t find a single thing to enjoy on the buffet. The place feels dingy … It’s outdated. There is an open bar with free flowing liquor and everything needed to mix your own cocktails. If you are stuck for hours and like to drink to pass the time, this place is for you. Any airline club lounge I’ve visited beats this place hands down.

Absolutely awful. This place is a Denny’s with wine. Rude front desk staff. Huge disappointment. Amex should be embarrassed to be affiliated.

Basic lounge in terminal 4. It’s in a convinent location right after security and you can gain access with your Priority Pass. If you have no other lounge access, this is a much nicer place to chill compared to the gate. However, if you have access to the Delta lounge, the Delta lounge is a superior option. The Wingtips lounge has a nice variety of self-self drinks and a food buffet. Lunch foods include your basic cold cuts, pasta salad, veggies, and cheese. Nothing fancy. There are some interesting Asian options like ramen noodle soup and stir fry. A great selection of beers, juices, and soft drinks. Their coffee is Nestle branded.

Great place to chill out in T4 before a flight. Super easy to sign in and all the staff members were friendly. Sadly, I caught the food situation right at the breakfast/lunch turnover, so I can’t really vouch for either. I will say that I did have some pretty good eggs n cheese though, which is already more of a hot meal than Delta Sky Lounge offers(for the love, please don’t make me peel an egg). The self-serve bar is a great concept and though the wine selection is a bit weak, the Coney Island Mermaid Pilsner in the fridge was enough to overlook that. Plenty of seats, a few TV’s and ample internet round out a solid experience here. Considering it’s located right after the TSA Pre-check line, I’ll be a regular here for every flight leaving from this terminal.

Very nice lounge in Terminal 4. It was clean. The staff were friendly. Breakfast buffet was pretty good. There were some interesting breakfast entrees like fried rice and Asian noodle soup. The cappuccino machine worked flawlessly. Great place to kill an hour or two before a flight. Score one for the Priority Pass.

Hmmm… I really don’t get the complaints about this lounge. This lounge is the only lounge at JKF that is open 24 hours, which is awesome. I came here after the AA Flagship Lounge closed at 11:00PM and I needed to kill some time before my very early flight(5:30 am). Wingtip Lounge costs $ 50 for a 4 hour period, which was completely worth the price. Don’t expect gourmet food here as the lounge food is standard(this isn’t Cathay or Qatar afterall)! What they do have is some craft beer bottles, which I didn’t expect. Overall, this is a good place to spend time but temper expectations.

Pretty good food selection for an airport lounge. They have a lot of appetizers, like: chicken cranberry salad, tuna salad, potato salad, cherry tomatoes, cut cucumbers, celery, olives, greens, dolma, hummus, fruit salad etc. Meat cuts, cheese selection(don’t expect any Roquefort or Manchego, but still). Mix and match, like they say:) Cookies, bread, toasts, jams, peanuts, pretzels, oranges and bananas. Full bar including Jack Daniels, brandy, vodka, etc. Few different beers. As for wines: Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Rose, Malbec and Cabernet. No sparkling or champaign, but that’s not France. Cozy leather chairs, panoramic view, altogether a nice place to spend your time if you have flight connection, or flight delay as in our case. Priority pass members welcomed here.

Definitely worth a visit if you have Priority Pass and are flying out of Terminal 4.(For the uninitiated, Priority Pass is a program included in premium credit cards like the AmEx Platinum and the Citi Prestige which gives you access to hundreds of airport lounges. Check the iPhone app for up to date info). This lounge is well decorated as has plenty of space with comfortable seats. It lacks showers(which the Delta Sky Lounge has) but is overall much more enjoyable. The food here is surprisingly delicious and filling for an airport lounge and is complementary. Plus I wasn’t given attitude and a tough time about bringing outside food in like I was at Delta’s. Dinner here is quite solid as far as airports go. During one of my visits I had access to the buffet, which included ricotta cheese stuffed shells pasta, veggie curry, and grape leaves(one of my all time favorite foods). Another point for the hours. I was able to come in before my departure on one trip and after my arrival to get breakfast.

Well below average, as far as lounges go. Not very clean or pleasant. Staff is rude. Crowded. Food is constantly running out. Might be better to wait in the public terminal. The only thing that puts this above 1-star is a decent alcohol selection, but I’m not looking for that in a lounge.

Crowded and a sub standard lounge. Most of the food was over by the time I checked in at 9:30pm. Poor selection of food with not many options! For desert all they had was a red velvet cake which was dry & not too flavorful. There was no variety at all. The only saving grace was that all food and drinks including alcohol was on the house. Unlike Qatar airways lounge I did not have to pay for anything once in the lounge. Service and food selection need a huge improvement!

Cleaniness of restroom and table, B; staff friendliness, B; food and food choice, C+; drink, B. NOSHOWER facility. One of the worse lounges i’ve ever visited. What is the the purpose going to a lounge if it is nicer outside of it?

One of the best lounges ever. Amazing food– buffet with international cuisine, which was on point, I may add. Much better than delta

This place is a joke. I think they charge me like $ 50 or $ 60 for a couple hours. Staff was rude and the food basically snacks. Definitely nothing VIP about it.

Awesome surprise before my flight from Terminal 4 at JFK. If you have Priority Pass(or another lounge pass that qualifies you) be sure to come here pre-flight to kick back in some comfy chairs, help yourself to an extensive offering of refreshments, check your email, take a relatively comfortable airport poop, or even shower. Plus there is a great view of the runways and taxiways. And it’s all included! The booze and food selection is excellent: beer, wine, and liquor plus things like Boar’s Head wraps and stuffed grape leaves for snacking will leave you wanting for little else. They also have a gourmet coffee machine that offers single serve lattes, cappuccinos, and the like. It’s especially cool to watch the planes from this terminal since many are from non-US carriers. Sitting here for a half hour I’ve seen two 747s and an A-380, which is really cool if you are an aviation nerd like me. Finally, I would be remiss if I didn’t compliment the staff. They are on the ball! The lounge is spotless and well-stocked. I am thoroughly impressed: now I have a reason to get to JFK hours early for future travels. If you are eligible to get in, I suggest you do the same!

This is a nice airport lounge compared to the domestic Delta Skyclubs and the American Admiral Clubs. This is almost on the same level as the American Express Centurion lounges. This lounge accepts members of the Priority Pass. The lounge is located on the air side after the TSA checkin at JFK Terminal 4. Overall, I like the lounge. There are more available food and drink options in this lounge compared to other airport lounges. This makes going through JFKT4 more tolerable. Pro 1. There were about 6 employees(not including the front desk) servicing the guests in the lounge. Seems to be a lot higher compared to the Delta SkyClub. 2. The location of the lounge is conveniently located to the left of the TSA checkpoint. 3. Self-serving soft drinks(fountain machine). It would have better if they serve actual soft drinks from the can. 4. Self-serving beer from a refrigerator. 5. Self-serving cold salad bar 6. Self-serving hot meal(Chicken and pasta was served while I was there around 4pm) 7. Self-serving cocktails 8. Shower 9. Décor is modern with«wood» floors and comfortable seats. Con 1. The lounge lacks signage showing its location. This may be a good thing if you don’t want it to be too crowded.

The lounge accepts members of the priority pass! I would say it’s a step up from AA and Delta sky club! Pluses: 1) announcements for the flights, which not too many lounges provide lately! 2) full self service bar + juices 3) cold salad bar + fruits 4) hot food 5) snacks(pastries, pretzels, cheeses and cold cuts) 6) coffee machine 7) view of the runway Minuses: 1) Internet is rather slow

I hadn’t been to an airport lounge until my visit to Wingtips in Terminal 5 earlier this month. I must say, I was expecting worse. I was actually wholly satisfied by my visit. My boyfriend and I breezed through security about 2 hours before our flight(thanks TSA pre-check!). I was excited to use my priority pass via our Amex Platinum cards. We checked in and made ourselves comfortable. The lounge was very clean. There was plenty of(comfortable) seating… the best being by the window where you get an awesome view of the runway. They had a nice selection of cold cuts, cheeses, pastries, and most importantly-alcoholic beverages(wine, high end hard liquor, beer), etc. Our empty plates were constantly cleared. With lounges like this, I wouldn’t mind getting to the airport a little early!

Got in free with my Citi credit card. Great place to pass the time before a flight. The food and drinks are all free. Food was OK and the drinks weren’t too bad.

A follow-up review to Oasis Lounge which is now called Wingtips Lounge: As I say, «THELOUNGE.» My beloved Priority Pass gets me access to a number of airport lounges around the world, and based on that experience I can say that Wingtips is one of my top picks. I always rejoice when I get to fly from Terminal 4 at JFK since I know I’ll have an hour here(or more if I come early!) to while away my time, get a bite to eat and have a drink(or a few) — More on that later. The lounge itself is sprawling with a great view over the runways and terminal area to scope out your airplane and others(if you’re interested). In my visits, I have never had difficulty finding a comfortable seat and there are a few seating areas including armchairs by the windows, a small dining area, TVs here and there, etc. I think the food and drink on offer at Wingtips are above-average, though I know others disagree. I have usually seen things like cheese, fruit, crackers, wraps, some mixed salads, and one or two hot dishes(chicken tikka masala, basmati rice and vegetable soup last time I was there) available for the taking. The self-serve bar leaves little to be desired and includes wine, beer, a generous variety of liquors and mixers, plus garnishes, etc. I think one of the top aspects of this lounge is that it is all self-serve and that there is always an interesting variety. There is WiFi(the code is easy to find on slips distributed around the lounge) and I have always found that the staff is friendly, professional and diligent in removing dirty plates, cups, etc. Since I have been coming here, I noticed they replaced regular plates and utensils with plastic which is kind of tacky, but that would be the only real complaint. If you need a good way to pass some time in Terminal 4, Wingtips is a great choice. Just don’t get too caught up in your gin and tonic or you’ll miss your flight(don’t be «that person!»).

Highlight — If you are a Diners Club credit card holder and plan to fly out of Terminal 4 at JFK, this is your ultimate pit stop for some refreshments and indulge in a meal before boarding your next flight. Plus, everything is FREE! — Amazing assortment of beverages: soda fountain options, hard liquor, wine, beer, canned juices. — Hot Food/Salad/Snack Bar: veggies, dips, wraps, crackers, pretzels, cookies, soups, pasta, fruit, etc. — Computers with printers, library of books, TVs, display to show departure times for flights, and plenty of seating to airplane watch. I think they even have showers, I could literally live here! — There are employees constantly clearing dishes and restocking food. Improvements — None really. This is pretty much your home away from home. Being stuck in this place at the airport wouldn’t be so bad after all. Tip — Arrive early for your flights so that you can thoroughly enjoy such luxury that awaits you in this gem at the airport.
