Very clean, not too gaudy with the Lucy theme. Food good and the service excellent and super friendly. Highly recommend!

Got to Babaloo’s at 2pm on a Saturday and they had closed. According to a sign in the window they now close at 2 everyday. Disappointed.

Our breakfast food was excellent. Great coffee. They have a very clean, bright, and inviting restaurant. Charming use of «I Love Lucy» decorations. The service was friendly, accommodating and prompt.
The menu has a nice variety of selections. The food is prepared fresh.
Will definitely return.

Fantastic local breakfast and lunch joint. Delicious food, reasonable prices and great service. We were looking for something local and not affiliated with a chain and this hit the mark. It’s the kind of place where the girls at the counter know all the locals that come in. I ordered the Texas French toast and the yogurt parfait and was stuffed by the end of it. I would recommend eating here for anyone looking for good local home cooked food.

This place is wonderful! The food is delish and the service is outstanding. We sat at the counter and were treated like royalty!
If you are a fan of I Love Lucy at all, you will have an absolute BALL. I can’t wait to get back here, and bring Terri!

Passing through on business and needed to stop for lunch. Went here based on the previous reviews and it was just outstanding!!! The atmosphere is just adorable. Lots of Lucy memorabilia. [This is the hometown of Lucy after all!] The food was fresh and delicious and very reasonably priced. [The Popeye Panini and Spinach Soup… SO good!] And after the meal you get a complimentary bon-​bon!!! And it was incredible. I would have to say the highlight of our experience was the excellent service. We were waited on by April and she was just the sweetest, kindest waitress I have probably ever had. So helpful and friendly. This was a memorable lunch to be sure, and you better believe I’ll be stopping here again if I’m ever in the area!!!

The cutest little place! Discovered on a bit of a whim and so glad we did. Food was fresh and delicious, quick to order and eat. Even better customer service.

This place is great!!! Very charming and clean with good food at an affordable price! The owners also work here & are very personable and friendly (as is the wait staff). This is a great find when in jamestown and you definitely get a Lucy fix here too. I love seeing good clean friendly businesses open in downtown jamestown! This place is one of the best! An added plus, yummy chocolate drops (To recognize the Lucy and the chocolate factory episode) are given out at the end of your meal!

Awesome experience and delicious food. I ordered their breakfast and everything was freshly made. Their toast was thick and the best I’ve had. Their iced coffee was the best I’ve had in town. Also for lunch you get a complimentary desert.

I was in Jamestown for the Lucy Comedy Fest and asked for a recommendation from the clerk at the museum gift shop. She recommended Babalou Café which was an incredibly short walk away on 2^nd street.
SO glad I asked! This café is a rare find. It has that small town feel with awesome food! I was greeted by the owner and selected a seat at the counter as I was dining alone and that is my seat of choice when doing so. I enjoyed a wonderful conversation with the owner, (who also serves) and other guests. I felt at home as soon as I walked in. All of the staff is very personable and there is an obvious loyal local following.
The restaurant is decorated in the «I Love Lucy» theme and is well appointed, not gaudy or overdone by any means. It is impeccably clean and well cared for. A tv in the corner plays old movies, and I’m sure plenty of Lucy episodes.
I ordered the turkey club panini and was shocked with the option of Hellmans or miracle whip. Nobody does that anymore. It just goes to show you how attention to detail is very important. The sandwich was served with pickle and chips and a complimentary homemade bonbon. I did here the staff talking about the homemade pies, so I ordered a piece to take home. I also ended up taking home part of my sandwich as it was so big I was unable to finish it for lunch.
I HIGHLY recommend Babalou Café on your next visit to Jamestown! You will be disappointed and I consider myself lucky to have found such a jewel!

Very clean atmosphere, bathroom included! Food tasted great and was of great value. There were Lucy memorabilia and the staff were attentive and made me and my guests feel very welcome. I will return again if I am ever in the area — we stopped by as we were waiting for the Lucy & Desi museum to open at 10.
The owner mentioned they had been open going on 3.5 years and the place was a former rubber stamp business.
