I’ve been camping here since I was little. I’m partial to this place for that reason. The 1 room cabins(2 of them) are convenient. They are $ 40/night. 2 tenting sites available for $ 18/night. The bathrooms are very clean. There is a pond to go paddle boating or canoeing. A pavilion is available for gatherings. They used to have fishing contests for kids and hayrides… they don’t do that anymore. It is basically an entertain yourself campground. The spillway is close. Jamestown beach is close as well. It is quiet there and friendly people are always around. They have Christmas in July for the campers and pot luck most Saturdays. Tip: tent site 1 is a good site. It has trees and cabin 2 is the better cabin just because the ground outside of the cabin is a little flatter than the other cabin. The rooms have 1 queen and 1 set of bunk beds.
