Buried in a strip mall right off of Route 60 is this outpost for nitrate laden meat goodness. In terms of location within said strip mall, this Subway is between the Dollar General and the Little Caesars. Everything about this place screams chain. If you used blackout curtains on the windows I couldn’t have told you if this was a Subway in Philadelphia, Baltimore, Jamestown or Virginia Beach. The two women working here had the team work thing down as one started-prepped things while the other one finished things off and rang me up at the register. Half of the family was happy when they found out that the Broccoli Cheddar soup was hot and ready to go. I hear that it’s excellent even though it’s not uncommon for Subway locations in PA to not offer it all that often or for them to not even put any soup out until much later in the day than 11:30 am. The store itself was clean and in a rare inspection of the restroom I can report that it wasn’t(insert bad pun here) crappy either. 30 minutes door to door and we were on our way. For a Subway, this is as good as it gets.
