The Wine Cellar

They don’t carry wine!!! Apparently when they opened they tried it as a wine bar but didn’t make any money. … we stopped by thinking we could try some great wines and… nothing… so we drank beer etc.
The bartender was definitely nice…
So my friends were hungry and all they also served were just chips…
I must say I did stumble in upon where they do serve the dom perignon with beef jerky… ???
It was alight.. nothing special…

Many years ago, I ran for State Senate, and used the Wine Cellar as my campaign headquarters. While the Republican and Democratic candidates announced their campaigns at swanky restaurants, I announced at 50 cent draft night in Jamestown’s smokiest bar, with the people.
Draft night is now 75 cents, to keep out the rift-​raft. (Tuesdays) But the same great bar staff is there. Seriously, one of the best staffs in any bar, anywhere.
Smoking is now illegal in NY State bars, but the Cellar has a special room for it, away from the bar.
Don’t forget to sign up for their beers around the world tour. Drink every beer on the list and get your name on a plaque. You can take 20 years to do it. I started in 1991 and plan on finishing while visiting family for Thanksgiving 2012, just before the end of the world.
