Infinite Light Yoga is still the best Yoga studio in Syracuse, NY.
Tony, who leads most of the classes that ILY has to offer (including the teacher training they now do) is the real deal. After attending one of his classes I’ve felt the most peace and inner freedom that I’ve ever felt in my life. It was seriously one of the most relaxing things I’ve ever done — I can have an incredibly stressful day, come here and leave feeling a little lighter and happier.
ILY’s classes encourage you to challenge yourself, yet find your own practice and they don’t encourage their students to all «look the same.» Their instructors recognize that every individual has different strengths and weaknesses and deplore how yoga magazines sometimes emphasize there’s a «right and only way» to do a posture.
Practically every class will be imbued with a tinge of spiritual wisdom, so if that’s not your thing — you may get a little turned off. I encourage you to stick with it and just take it for what it is. They are just words which may resonate with you or they may not. The practice is great. Best studio in Syracuse — hands down. In fact, every time I visit my parents in Syracuse I make an effort to go to a class.
My only wish is they would have such compassionate and knowledgeable instructors who are able to blend theory with practice so perfectly in every city.

I love going to Infinite Light Yoga. Over the past year, I’ve tried many of the Yogi’s and have found a great balance of classes that I enjoy taking. I wish our schedules lined up more, especially on the weekends, but otherwise, I do not have a complaint in the world.
It’s a restorative practice opposed to some other studios that I have gone to. You come out feeling rejuvenated, not coming out of a workout.
