I can’t say enough how happy I am that I went with this company for my pool removal. Tom and Mandy were great to work with. The entire project was started and completed on a timely manner as stated by them. After having a few people come out and give me estimates, Tom was the only one I felt was just straight forward and honest with me on what the project entitled and the costs. I would highly recommend this company!!!

Hacienda Jalisco in Jamul is delicious! It tastes like homemade Mexican food. I don’t eat Mexican food often because it is so heavy and usually makes me feel mind of ill shortly after eating it. Jalisco on the other hand tastes fresh and light. On top of that, it is very inexpensive! The restaurant is cool and dark and very cozy. I find it relaxing and highly recommend.

I had an in-ground concrete spa in my backyard that was leaking in several places. Given the current drought situation in California, I could not continue operating it in that condition in good conscience. The cost of bringing it back into operation was prohibitive, so I decided decommissioning it and reclaiming the space in my back yard made the most sense. I contacted several demolition companies that specialized in pools and spas, but AllStar was the only company that returned my call. After collecting some preliminary information, Mandy was able to give me a rough estimate but she scheduled an onsite visit with Tom and her so they could get a better idea of what would be involved. From the onsite inspection until the final concrete pour, Tom was a pleasure to work with. He explained everything that they would be doing, went over my options and how they would affect the cost of the job, and gave his insight into what he thought was the best way to proceed. Mandy kept me informed on the schedule and if any issues came up that needed to be addressed. As the project proceeded, if there was additional work that needed to be done, I’d ask Tom if he could arrange it. He never lobbied for the extra work, but was more than happy to facilitate it getting done even if it meant bringing in another contractor for the job. They finished the concrete pour last week for the new surface and I’m very pleased with the result. Even the work they did not do themselves(stucco patching, etc.) looks great. Now I just need patio furniture for the newly reclaimed space. I won’t ask Tom to facilitate that; he’s done enough. :-)

Very professional company, was given an accurate beginning and end date. Pricing was fair, I felt comfortable with All Star employees being on my property and very satisfied with the the leveling that was done. The customer service with Tom was reassuring, I felt like if I had questions or concerns I was not afraid that I would ruffle feathers approaching him, am planning on using this company for a pool remodel in the future. Highly recommended.

Tom was recommended by a friend who had her pool taken out and I could not be happier. We set up a start and end date, with a contract and price that was fair. He took care of the city permit, and started the job the day he said he would. The end date was one day longer, but it was so he could come back and do a clean up. He currently is doing the cement and decking in our background. We had a very specific design in mind and he is working very hard to give us exactly what we want. He shows up every morning and has a conversation with me and my husband about what to expect from that day. He has a crew that is friendly and knows what they are doing. He keeps me in the loop with e-mails and the sub-contractors he has brought in have been in their field for years and know their jobs. The cement guy took over the company from his father. I could not be happier with the work he is doing. What I thought would take 4 – 6 weeks, Tom is getting done in 2 and ½ weeks. He and his crew show up everyday and work hard. Tom notices little things that we overlook to make our backyard even better.
