Lisa was wonderful. She was welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. Soft blanket on my lamp, warm shoulder wrap, coffee/​tea. The sugar scrubs have a wonderful scent and are not too abrasive. Lisa was gentle and understanding of some of my problem areas with my feet. I will be back very soon for the signature pedicure. Thank you Lisa for a great experience and I feel very relaxed.

I LOVE The Upper Hand Salon! Everyone there is sweet and very professional. I love it so much that I take care of all my Spa needs there. My hair, names and facials. Elaine is an awesome hair stylist. She is the sweetest person you will ever meet and she is alway in «the know» with the newest and best hair products. She saved my hair from a horrible stylists. I have been going to her for about 10 years. My whole family now goes to her and all my friends. I just can’t get over how much I LOVE my hair thanks to her. Lisa does Shellac on my nails and is also the salon owner. She is fun and professional. She really knows how to give the best relaxing experience. I have never kept up on my nails until I started to go to Lisa. She is truly wonderful at what she does. Bryn provides me with the best facials. She really gets down to the nitty gritty. I love going in and relaxing and looking like a million bucks when I leave. Her techniques are brilliant and she customizes each appointment to my skin. Even my husband has noticed a difference in my skin.

This is by far the best nail place I have ever been to in my experiences with it. The one thing I have to say is the best part about this place is knowing you will not contract a horrible toe infection from tubs filled with other peoples disgusting foot remnants. The ladies that work at this place are extreme clean freaks, something very important in that industry.
The ambiance is fantastic in this salon; it feels like you’re in a spa like place but it’s also very living roomish; the music that’s been on when I have been in is typically Jack Johnson/​laid back John Mayer music, etc. etc.
The drive to the nail shop can be a bit out of the way and is definitely not a spur the moment type event; I am pretty sure they are appointment only, which is good to know that you can actually get a spot when you need your nails done and not have to wait behind a thousand ladies, contracting their left over toe fungus. The ladies that work at this place are extremely nice, I recommend seeing Julie or Lisa.
In addition to nails, they also do massages and hair cutting, all by different ladies of course.
And with «white» salons as people call them, the prices are definitely pretty steep in here; so don’t go expecting your average set of acrylics and pedicure for under 20 bucks like the «Asian» salons. Your cuticles will not be ruined, which is definitely a plus to the expensive prices, but it can be a bit of wallet rape. Don’t get me wrong, the money is worth the pedicures especially after stressful situations or just needing to reconnect with being girlie again. The pedicure I get with the super nice leg rubs/​yummy smelly lotions will run you about 35 bucks. Expect a set of acrylic nails to run about 40 bucks. However, there are monthly specials offered to the clients by the nail techs and are the way to go when picking out what to get.
The nail polish colors are a nice selection; your standard range of reds and pinks but they have fun newer «younger» colors in that last quite a long time, also making the prices well worth it.
I have heard that there are special house calls the ladies do, for a fee of course, but they do private parties, a nice fun thing to add to any chick event.
