I’ve been shopping at Bargain Barn for almost 30 years (so long ago that I was a customer when it was in the old location). I’ve actually made special trips to Jasper to buy from them when I could shop at Cabellas or Academy much easier (Academy is within walking distance of my house but since the folks at the Barn have always taken good care of me as a customer I figured they’d earned my business) This afternoon my wife and I waited for some help at the gun counter for 15 minutes while two employees completely ignored us and carried on a conversation less than 20 feet away. Guess we’ll be buying that pistol for my wife elsewhere, as well as the archery gear and 200 dollar firepit that we planned on purchasing today. FYI Bargain Barn, it was me that left the pack of carbon arrows and the armguard on the knife counter, maybe you can have the two jack wagons who AREN’T selling guns put them back in stock.

This is a great place to go if you are looking for some supplies on your way into the mountains for some camping, hunting, or fishing.
They have a ton of clothes as well and a butt load of firearms upstairs. Prices are decent, especially for a locally owned/operated store. Would much rather shop here than a Wal-Mart or something like that.
Be very careful to not bump into someone there when walking around. Most people that shop there wear camouflage, and all you see sometimes are heads bopping around the isles. :)

Great outdoors store. Half the store is clothes and boots/shoes. They are a Big Green Egg dealer! I have bought several guns here. Fair prices and a good selection.

A great selection and good inventory (not counting the ammo and arms shortage experienced nation-wide at the moment). Half of this very large sporting-goods store is clothing and its well maintained and well laid out. The prices are a bit on the high side compared to their competitors, but not enough to be off-putting.

Basically it’s a smaller Bass Pro Shop. But husband and I stopped in to check it out, had some really cool things, but I don’t see us coming all the way from our side of town to shop here. Staff super nice and willing to help.
