Travel Rite Inn

I have never traveled with my man for his work before now. This is the worst place ive ever stayed. We have stayed here for 9 nights… in this time period i have came down with strep throat and pink eye, both of which i have NEVER had before in my life. The room is disgusting. It appears the carpet has never been replaced n i could only guess how old the building is… but i would say over 15 yrs old. Worse than this problem, our room has 2 full beds so we decided to move one bed over to the other in order to make 1 large bad. When richard raised one mattress up to pick it up, i was shocked to see a large black n wet spot on the mattress. It was so disgusting i was sick to my stomach immediately. Apparently the mattress had been flipped in order to conceal the very large spot. It was so wet that at the time it was flipped it leaked onto the box spring as well. Super yuck. I refuse to lay on that bed. When house keeping came i showed her… she didn’t seem surprised nor did she care. I mentioned that I thought it was probably a health code violation. Still no concern. The tub wouldnt drain n when maintenance came to check on that n he couldnt snake it out, he went down n came back with a bottle of chemical n then went in the bathroom n shut the door n poured chemical down the drain WHILE HE WAS IN THERE WITH THE DOOR SHUT. Although it is a work trip n i dont expect vacation suites, at $ 255.00 for seven nights, i have had my fill of this place. To top it off, there r people actually living here in these rooms n all night, every night sirens n door slamming n yelling. Unacceptable n unhealthy.
