Johnny’s Wife’s Place

Stopped in for dinner on a Thursday afternoon with our two boys. Firstly, the waitress Miranda was extremely helpful. Being the first time here we had questions on how the good was prepared etc. She really went out of her way to answer and make recommendations.
The food was good and mostly fresh. I have to say the ranch dressing and French onion soup were excellent.
The sandwiches and pizza were definitely good and large portions at a very reasonable price.
The also have a great beer selection. The only problem for me is our waitress had to run downstairs to the bottle shop to get one of the beers. The owners need to install an extra cooler on the restaurant level. Otherwise, two thumbs up.

Stopped by for a pizza special for take out and was SHOCKED at the amount of crafts and beers on tap and all at a very fair price. What made this place rock is the fact that the pizza was OUTSTANDING! Great crust, baked to that crispy perfection we all enjoy and the service time was Very quick. This place is simply great. Came back another night a week later for dine in. The wings are hard to beat. Huge sizes and very good sauces and toppings. Simply coating with seasoning salt at their base makes them rock. Try this place… then keep coming back. Its now in our fave top 3 places :)

Very good wings and 20 – 30 craft brews of draft. Gotta love that combination. Games for the kids and flat screen TVs to watch the game.

Wow what a cool atmosphere. Not overly crowded. Fun kareoke night on Fridays. Friendly people

This place have the ugliest stupidest bartenders always the place stinks from whatever air freshener they have

I’ve ordered their Pizza twice. First time it was «meh.» Second time we were having friends over and I didn’t want to bother to go pick up pizza somewhere else (I live up the street from Johnny’s), so I gave them another shot. I also got some wings. Pizza wasn’t very good. The crust reminded me of gas station pizza. And their wings were OK.
I guess if you’re looking for a local watering hole with some decent bar food to shovel down your throat while you and your bros throw back some brewskies then this might do it for you. But I probably won’t be back, and it was disappointing too because they’re so close and the locals gave me high hopes when I moved in.

Local hangout bar. They have games to play and plenty of seating at the bar and at tables. Their prices are very reasonable, they also have their own parking lot which is really convenient

JWP is a nice place during the daytime to take the kiddos and at night it’s a great place to watch a game. They have a nice sized bar, beautifully finished picnic tables, a game room with a pool table, tons of TVs, and an excellent beer selection.
The only reason I give this establishment 4 stars is because the kitchen is downstairs and the bartender is also the server during the daytime. So they have to guess as to when your food is ready then leave their bar so they can go get your food. I understand that this place will not support two people during the day but they should have some sort of system in place so that they know when food is ready. Not only does this occasionally cause your food to arrive cold but it also forces them to ignore part of their duties as a bartender which I’m sure cuts into their tips.
I would absolutely recommend this place to families and sports fans alike. Get the wings and try their selection of fall beers. Make sure to bring quarters too. Enjoy!

We have been ordering from here for 3 years now. Very rarely have I ever been disappointed and even when they make a mistake they go the extra mile to make it right. Very large menu for take out/​delivery and if you cannot find something you like to eat you must be in the mood for chineese. I do however wish they would go back to their old fries the new ones are nowhere near as good as the old ones. Everything else we have ordered from johnnys is fantastic.

Been going to Johnny’s for 8 years now. Awesome food. Never had a bad meal here. The Nachos cannot be beat. Great pizza. The Rueben is huge! The Jayhawk chicken sandwich with hot sauce and blue cheese is messy but so yummy. Good wings with numerous sauce choices and always Ice cold beer.

Moving to PA and with all the options for pizza it’s difficult to know where to go. However if you find yourself in or around Jeannette PA, make sure you feed your cravings for pizza pie & just about anything else at Johnny’s Wife’s Place!

Generous portions served piping hot. The Cuban was tasty but a tiny bit dry — needed some sauce. The wings were huge! The drumstick, wing and tip were all salt seasoned and plump with tender meat. The wood benches say «eat and get out» or «drink so you won’t complain your butt hurts». Personable bar tender offered friendly service.

Fun place with pretty good food all around. The wings are good but I suggest the fried chicken and wedges dinner. Get the gold and red sauce on the side tangy but sweet. Internet jukebox so you can play whatever tunes you want while you eat.

Love Johnny’s! Great draft selection… The cuban sandwich, yeah, it’s that good! Wings, pizza, burger’s, fresh cut fries with brown gravy, just to name some others that are very good. Staff are always pleasant and Johnny’s has a couple of pool table, never a bad thing…

Their wings are real delicious here. If you haven’t tried their sauces, you should because they are some of the best wing sauces you will ever have. I would suggest some to you, but I love every single one that I have tried. Their prices for their wings are pretty expensive, but if you go on wing night, you can get them for like 75 cents each. Not to mention they are whole jumbo wings. They also charge 75 per sauce, but believe me, it is worth every penny.

ever eat a good cuban sandwich? not this good. this place piles on the real pulled pork in huge chunks good hard crusty roll with cheese and mustard and dont forget the pickle. its killer. i dont drink, seems to be the draw here, but its genuine good bar food cheap.

Great wings, lots of draft beer, good atmosphere and good prices.

Best wings in the area. Full wings too.
