Recommended by a friend for a quick sandwich. Had a small Reuben, called a Rachel, on marbled rye with slaw instead of sauerkraut. The sandwich was good, toasted nicely. The thousand island dressing was scarce, and the corned beef was okay. I guess I was there on a day they had a big carry out order, and though I didn’t mind the wait, the staff was bemoaning how busy they were, which was a little distracting. The ramen noodle salad was lacking, tasted perhaps like it was a day too old. I finished with a really good chocolate chip cookie. It’s a nice small deli right downtown. Looked like they had a selection of cookies, muffins, and baked goods. I think I saw some pre made cold sandwiches, which I might try next time if I’m in a hurry. Overall, not a bad place for lunch.
