I was passing through town and saw this place on the corner and stopped in. After being greeted with a friendly smile I ordered the Pastrami sandwich and was extremely surprised. It was a great sandwich accompanied by some of the best potato salad I have ever had. I washed it down with a berry smoothie that topped off the whole experience. I did not expect all of this from a small town bakery. I did not have any of the baked goods but they were big and looked delicious. I could not find the menu online but it didn’t matter because it all looked good. I am looking forward to come back and try the Homestead Bistro sandwich.

Nice family owned bakery with good coffee and good food. The build-​your-​own sandwiches are tasty and the gouda bisque soup was wonderful. The customer service was great. We stopped by from California to visit family. We came in first, to try some espresso and second, to have dinner since they were one of the few casual spots open Sunday. I’ll give 4 stars, but with progress toward five since it is a new shop.
