This place is a little piece of Mexico right here in the Mid-Willamette Valley.(Trust me! I’ve been traveling all over Mexico for 30 years.) Authentic food in every way. Tacos(a buck apiece) are little morsels of happiness. This is a no-nonsense bakery/restaurant for working folks. Most food sold is taken out although there is a sit-down eating area where you can relax. Their baked goods(cookies, breads) are tops, although the rolls(bolillos) could be a little bit«crustier.» Also, they REALLY need to invest in a beer/wine license.

This is a great place… visiting some friends in Jefferson and they recommended this joint. I’m glad they did. The food here is AUTHENTIC! I had two different tortas and they were delicious. I was going to have some lengua, but my family told me they don’t want me to eat that in front of them. Sheesh! And the tortas were only 3.75 each. I had a steak and a pastor torta. My son had a steak burrito. So good! I’ll definitely eat here anytime I come to Jefferson… they also have a Mexican bakery there.
