My wife and I decided to do a weekend away. I called the Carriage House and spoke with Jessi. At the end of our discussion, I told her, «if the weekend is as good as this conversation has been, it will be great.» It was even better. Jessi, the cottage and superb breakfasts contributed to a perfect weekend for us. In short this was a great choice for lodging. We are planning a return visit in the fall.

A fabulous place to stay! The owner Jessi is the perfect host. She knows how to make you feel welcome from the moment you step through the front door. The home is warm and cozy and the guest rooms are quaint and charming. You will enjoy an amazing home cooked breakfast every morning. My husband and I spent hours on the garden patio cozied up to the wood burning fire pit which is kept burning morning and into the nite. Enjoy coffee by the fire in the morning and S’mores in the evening. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Jefferson.

I can’t say enough how much fun my mom, sister, & I had here!!! The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated! The little details make this experience amazing! We brought my 4 year old niece and the hostess, Jessie, went out of her way to make it special… She had a s’mores platter made for the bonfire that they kept going all night with fresh wood. The breakfast was 2 course and scratch made with love and passion. I am so excited about bringing my husband here for a romantic getaway!

This is a beautiful place. The courtyard fire is always burning. We are staying in the Diamond Bessie Room which is beautiful. The history of the area and the attractions are all very close to to bed and breakfast. The innkeepers/​owners are very lovely people and we haven’t been disappointed in our stay. The breakfast served is unique, beautiful and very tasty. We are staying for our 26th anniversary and hope to make this an annual visit. We highly recommend them for your stay.
