I’ve moved about a half-​dozen times, and I can tell you this was a TERRIBLE moving experience. They give you a lowball quote — based on how many rooms you have — then charge much more once all your stuff is on the truck. The movers they contracted came with no hand truck, so they had to carry one box at a time, then charged me extra because it took so long! I could have hired a reputable, full service moving company for less than I ended up paying. Infuriating!

This place is horrible. We moved to NOLA from out of state and despite being told by U-​Pack representatives that they could deliver our belongings to our new address, we had to go the their terminal and move the stuff from one truck to another. You’d think that because it was them who was not fulfilling their end of the deal that they would at least help in finding another company that could-​or a even just a truck-​or something, but they refused. I will never use this company again and strongly advise against it to everyone.
