I took my grandma there on a Sunday evening to pick out a new recliner and temper-pedic bed. We received excellent one-on-one attention with the sales rep and even spent time with the manager on duty. We had a great experience and we weren’t pressured to buy something we didn’t need.

The buying experience was pleasant enough. The delivery was a different story. We had two pieces of furniture delivered. One was left partially assembled and the other was left broken and spread across the floor. The delivery guy stepped outside to call someone to bring a replacement part. He said the guy would be here in an hour. Two hours later we called Ashley furniture and they flat out stated that the delivery guy lied and there was no way anyone could get there until after the weekend. My wife argued long enough that they did send an actual Ashley furniture employee out to fix everything. He was professional and did a great job. Still, the overall experience was awful. I will never, every buy anything from them again.

We were thrilled with the service we received from Rory Williams at this location. He was very helpful and friendly. We felt like a good friend was guiding us through the store to see our options. We bought the porter bedroom set and some end tables for the living room. The salesman was great. Worked out a great deal for us. The quality is better than I imagined. Nice dove-tailing, felt lined cedar drawers and solid wood. We’ve had it for 2 months now and I don’t have any complaints.

I had pretty high hopes for this visit because I’ve heard Ashley furniture is pretty nice. When we entered, everything looked really nice — lots of stuff; couches, dining and bedroom sets, art work and all the fancy décor you see on HGTV makeovers. We walked around for a bit; sitting on couches and measuring pieces on our own. I found the«Ashley Café» — free coffee and water. I thought it was quaint and welcoming. Then the sales guy approaches and asked if I needed help… I told him my dimensions and what I was looking for(with the knowledge that my set-up was possible — because if just found it at another store); he told me – I don’t think you’ll find that. He paraded me around pointing out and measuring things, never giving me a chance to look, sit or digest anything he was saying. I told him«thank you», and«I’ll just look around» a few times before he finally let me browse on my own. After walking the store by myself; I realized they don’t really have a fantastic selection and didn’t seem to want to help me find something. So I’m «peacing out».

My experience with Ashley furniture on bluegrass Parkway their delivery company and their warranty company have all been negative — if I could give them a negative star I would. The service was extremely poor. They were happy to sell me $ 4000 worth of furniture, and then it took them eight weeks to deliver it! I had problems with the delivery crew — they wanted to me to sign for furniture they hadn’t delivered, and even though I had been waiting eight weeks for the remaining piece which they forgot in the warehouse, they said they would have to come back some other time and I would have to reschedule that. I had to get on the phone with the manager of the delivery company, fortunately I had The number on my caller ID because the store refused to give me a number with someone I could speak to about the problem. Now I have a problem with the warrantee. What a surprise one year after buying a $ 1200 couch, The frame has broken, and I called the warranty company as it was sold to me to cover everything about the couch — springs, frame and fabric. What a surprise — they won’t honor the warranty. Shame on you Ashley furniture!

I know this place had some bad reviews but my experience was pretty great! We had such friendly service from both the sales lady Joy and the manager. We did not have any extrenuous requests, we were pretty easy costumers. Just ordered a full bedroom set and had it delivered to my new apartment. My experience was satisfactory and it looks like the only people leaving reviews here on Unilocal were the ones with poor service.

I really dislike having to leave a negative review for any sort of business. But this place takes the cake. I placed an order in the beginning of April, dated for it to be delivered mid-May. The call I got to reschedule the delivery was surprising but it wasn’t the issue. It’s the rescheduled date they promised(emphasis on PROMISE) to deliver on(today, actually) that has become a major factor in the decision to write this terrible review. Upon waiting and waiting for the robotic call to get a delivery time-frame, I called the store. turns out, I wasn’t even scheduled. In fact, that store had just recently received an email this morning from the Memphis call-center-whatever requesting FORTHEFIRSTTIME that my furniture be delivered on today’s date. The reason for rescheduling in the first place(according to the Memphis call center)? my order had not even been checked in when it arrived at the store I purchased it from… and it got delivered to the store last week. so I’m assuming it sat there until someone decided oh hey let’s see if this has been checked in or not. I could not speak to a manager or supervisor as they were all in a ‘corporate meeting.’ I appreciate the phone lady’s honesty in telling me it wouldn’t be possible to have it delivered this day, but instead have a date of May 29th. Totaling a wait time of about 2 months. NOT. OKAY. it’s not my fault your company can’t communicate!!!

I would give them no stars if that was an option. My wife and I purchased a sectional from here back in March ’14 with the insurance coverage since we have 3 children with 1 on the way. This couch has in no way lasted even a year. We made a claim in June ’14 and it is now the beginning of September with no resolution in sight. The regional manager, Sharon, has basically said that there was nothing that they would or could do for us. She claims that we must over use the couch. I didn’t realize that sitting on a couch with the family constitutes abnormal wear and tear. Not blaming any of the salespeople as they were nice enough to deal with and to try to help resolve the matter. It’s the managements lack of concern or care to rectify the situation that is deeply troublesome. So if you are looking to spend a couple grand on a couch that has no chance in holding up with normal use then by all means shop at Ashley Furniture. I can see by the reviews on here that I am not alone in this. Hopefully this matter will be taken care of but even with the long wait time to fix the situation I would still give a very low review.

I purchased a sofa bed that showed up 2 wks late and caused me to have to make other arrangements for my guests. It’s been 1.5years and the mechanism and frame started falling apart after 10months. Ashley would not stand behind their product. I’ve put $$$ on the review because if you don’t buy the warranty, you’re being screwed. You have to add the price of the warranty to anything you buy, and that makes Ashley’s too expensive for the products they sell. I will NEVER buy from Ashley again, nor will anyone that asks me about them. Customer Service is very poor, has no capability or authority to think for themselves for the better of the customer. Their role is to NOT pay out any time or money. They should change the name to Customer Disservice. Our rep kept apologizing for not being able to do anything. So What! Save yourself future headaches Off to Haverty’s to buy a table and chairs and two couches
