Walmart Neighborhood Market

This Walmart is just a grocery store, so if you’re looking for shoes or shorts, go elsewhere. But there is a nice produce, deli, and Fresh-​baked bread section, and all the regular items on your list, at good prices. AND best of all, there aren’t mobs of people, or long lines to checkout. Call me weird, but for someone who doesn’t like shopping, that is heaven.

The hot bar is the sole reason I give this Neighborhood Walmart «Fan» status. Their wings, potato wedges, chicken tenders and fried okra are actually some of the best around! They usually have some General Tso’s Chicken which is bready, but pretty good too! They used to shut it down waay too early, but now it stays open until 7pm or so. The rest of the store is serviceable (A-​OK) if you don’t need anything super specific or name brand. Beer selection is ok and, unlike the local Kroger, they sell over-​sized single beers (25−32oz.) which is kinda fun. Their adjacent liquor store will suffice for mixers. The gas on site is also always the cheapest with cool additives to combine with your fuel-​up. Yeah, definitely a fan…

The store is poorly managed and the employees are useless. This place is slightly above a gas station food mart.

Well, for a change most of the people at a Walmart store are nice! There «Health Food» Section is NON-​Existent!!! They did carry the Cereal I was looking for «Cascadian Farm». But no organic produce to speak of??? I know you are thinking «It’s Walmart», what do you expect? Well, being the leader in buying just about everything, I would expect there to be some options… but that is why I do not us any of these «Walmart Markets» as my normal gorcer.

Success of a neighborhood feel.
This Walmart is built to blend in with it’s neighborhood. This location is only a market place instead of your other super giant cousins. The local feel is seen in the staff who are always friendly, the large produce section, and even though I am quite the regular at a more convenient Walmart, this one is my favorite.
This store reminds me of when Walmart was still about quality and not quantity.
