My boyfriend and I went here today. He’s big on things that will«last forever!» And I guess these shoes are one of those things. I’m not a huge shopper, but he wanted to investigate, so we did. The store is nice. Pretty much what I’d expect from a fancy shoe store. Discount or not. Dark. Woody. Lots of shoes. You know. You can imagine a shoe store. He had a pretty good idea of what he wanted. He had shoe stalked some things before hand and so we waited to be asked to be helped. There was a fellow working exclusively the phone and computer. And a woman. We were the only customers in the store. The woman didn’t help us very quickly but she was doing some business, so I figured, it’s cool, whatever. When she came around and asked what shoe he wanted to see, she seemed miffed he didn’t know his width. She didn’t want to measure him, but randomly picked a width and when those didn’t work, sort of resigned to measuring. During this time, she was basically ignoring us. And I get being busy. I guess they ship and some problems arose out of that. Which is cool. If she would have just said, «I’m sorry, we’re busy,» or something like that, it would have been ok. I understand customer service isn’t easy. But he tried on three pairs. We weren’t mean or demanding. It was a really disappointing experience. I hate ragging on customer service people, but this was just such a bad one. Maybe they should just hire extra people. Lower the stress level.
