Burger Barn

I am a connoisseur of fine burgers. there are not that many good places around here to get a really good hamburger especially if you want cooked correctly with quality ingredients. this is the place! Burger barn has amazing food and a tremendous selection of interesting food items even beyond the burger. I recommend this place highly and suggest when the weather is fine you make a stop to the burger barn.

Couldn’t be happier having a gem like this so close to home. I try to order a different burger each time I go, and I have yet to be let down. The service rivals the quality of the burgers, truly a diamond I’m the (not so) rough area of Jeffersonville. There is usually a line, and its cash only, so be prepared!

My first time here today after visiting boyden valley vineyard and holy cow was I impressed. I ordered the Texas bbq burger with cheddar cheese (which is extra) and it was fantastic. Bbq sauce, onions and mushrooms and a perfectly cooked burger. Unreal. We also got the fried beans which are green beans In a kind of spicy crispy batter and fried perfectly. Delicious. I can’t wait until they reopen in the spring, I will definitely make the trek from Burlington.

I’ve had this place on my «to visit» list for a while. After hearing good reviews on Unilocal and from friends and family, I had to check it out!
It was one of the main destinations for our date day! We wanted to go on a hike too but heavy downpours deter us. I Got a Oahu burger and boy, it was amazing! I’d actually say it was the best specialty burger I’ve had! Cheddar cheese, pineapple, bacon and bbq sauce. I’d take two if I had cash for it which brings me to my next point.
That’s actually where they lost a star — expensive for the size of the burger. The quality makes up for it but my point stands. Why does any business do cash only nowadays? With little square card reader small businesses can easily (and fairly cheaply) charge cards. If they had taken cards we would have bought more (fried pickles and mozzarella sticks).
We will certainly be back!

For a burger place in a small town. Their food is good!
I was skeptical at first since it was a very small place. I order was the garlic burger (not the best choice). Other people really enjoyed their order.
