Denny’s

It should be a negative two stars! This place sucks on all levels, even taking into account that I’m at a Denny’s, it’s sub par of a sup par Denny’s.

Food was good service was good can’t complain. Wendy was my server and very nice! Now on my way home to my family!!!

We stopped here today on the way to outlet stores. I haven’t eaten at a denny since they closed in Columbus. This one was at a truck stop so wasn’t expecting much. I was surprised. Restaurant was very clean, wait staff very friendly and food was very good. My dad said it was best omelette he’s had in a while. He said he’d go back just for the food

I came in and was seated immediately. However took 30 minutes for Justin c to take my order. I ordered a coke and smothered cheese fries also a double cheese burger meal. I asked for the burger to be cooked medium. Justin says we only cook them well done if you wanted medium u should have went elsewhere. He walked away and my smothered cheese fries that were microwaved came 20 minutes layer cold. Mind you there was 2 other people total and 4 waiters. A cook and a manager. I would not recomend coming here.

Honestly if i could give a 0 i would. Worst service ive ever had. Seriously, i work in the service industry and i understand kitchens being backed up, however this place wasnt busy at the time of our visit. It took 45 mins to get our food, then my mothers food was wrong. She said no onions what came out on her burger? Onions. Also should i mention we drove over an hour away to go to this dennys because my father loves dennys, well i should say he used too. The server wouldnt give us coffee or refil my sweet tea then finally brings the coffee over and just gives my dad some, not my mom. She was rude also, and kinda a doofus. I do not recommend. Oh and all the wait for our food and it was cold.

America’s Diner? Really?
Minimal selections on the menu. I ordered the Club Sandwich which could only be described as pathetic. Only 1 slice of turkey and bacon so skimpy it could barely be located.
On the positive side, the wait staff was friendly and the place was reasonably clean.
If this wasn’t on my companies approved list for fuel stops, I WOULD NOT return.

Why would any business open to the public want potential customers to be offended? Why would a business looking to draw more customers for increased revenue want to scare away customers? When I walked in, I saw political propaganda channel Faux News Channel — with audio turned up — on 2 large screen TVs and immediately felt uncomfortable and the urge to leave. But the staff was at least pleasant and invited me to stay. I couldn’t enjoy my food, though, knowing people around me were being fed disinformation and believing it, making my experience and overall very bad one.

Friendly staff was about the only redeeming quality from this place. It took us 45 mins to get our food and there were only 10 people dining and they all had their food. The food tastes OK, seems expensive for the price, because you don’t get that much food. I asked for steemed broccoli with melted butter and they gave me a bowl of butter that wasn’t melted. «We don’t have melted butter» interesting because they have a microwave.

No good at all over med eggs we hard no yolk pancakes horrible … Waitress had to cook our meal … Go on down the road

Complete fail wait several minutes for a table so I just went to the bar waited 30 minutes for my food never came so I left

This was the worst Dennys I ever been in 8 tables being served and the serves was slow not only that I order the pot roast the carrots were so hard I thought I was in the garden when I complained the waitress sent the manager it took her way too long to acknowledge us being their and when she did come all she did was bring a new bill and an order of fries… No sorry or what’s the issue nothing. I also wanted to go out and buy my own drinking cup because the cups their were chipped so bad they should have went straight from the table to the trash

Kinda in the middle of no where… take what u can get most of the staff seemed overwhelmed and stressed out took a while yo get our order taken and took longer than i expected to get our food eithe way food was ok nut n great…

Excellent breakfast! The senior omelette and coffee were both very good! We were seated right away and Caitlin W is a very good waitress!

Good food, but service was HORRIBLE! Took awhile to be acknowledge and seated. There was no line. Didn’t get syrup with pancakes and waitress wasn’t around. So went up to counter and with not one of the 4 waitresses acknowledging me standing there. Waitress did not offer refills, and only checked on us when she gave us the bill. No they weren’t busy.

This is the worst excuse for a restaurant I have ever seen! The place if filthy and the carpet is completely disgusting! I dont usually post negative things but we have had numerous very bad dinning experiences at this one restaurant! Its definitely a management issue! There are actually several very good waitresses that work here but you can tell its out of their hands! Every time we eat there we witness numerous very unhappy customers! Its truly amazing to me that corporate allows this establishment to stay open. Dont waste your money or your time at this place! I wouldn’t even give this place a one star!

If you stop at the flying J. do yourself a favor just get food up front and skip Denny’s. Not impressed at all. food bland. We order the pizza for the three year old and it came out not cut. they told us they are not allowed to cut it… really? Service was maybe a yhree star.

No one brings you the bill. When you get it you have to wait 20 mins for someone to check you out
Good, sucked, service sucked, and the worst of all! You hear the people in the back complain about them not getting good tips, but when the service sucks how can you expect to get good tips.

Out of everything on the menu, coffee cup had a sweet n low wrapper adhered to the inside. Do yourself a favor and eat elsewhere.

On Tuesday February 3^rd, 2015 I went to Jeffersonville, OH to see my nephew. At 1:30pm my niece, her 2 year old and myself went to Denny’s (store#8631) because it was closest to where we were and we wanted to go in and sit down, something a little better than normal fast food. When we walk in we see a sign, wait to be seated, and there was no hostess to be found. We stood there for about 5 minutes before anyone greeted us. After we sat down our server, Danielle B., came over and took our drink order, I told her water with no lemon, my niece ordered water with lemon and she ordered her son chocolate milk. At that time we also asked her for extra napkins or a damp towel because the 2 year old needed it. Ten minutes later she brings our drinks and my water is with lemon, still no extra napkins or damp towel.. She apologizes about the drink being wrong and then she takes our order, we order a turkey club sandwich with fries, Chicken Avocado Sandwich with fries, and asked that the avocado be on the side, chocolate chip pancakes and banana slices. Another 5 minutes goes by before we get the napkins and new water, about 20 – 25 minutes go by before we get our food. My turkey club comes out with 4 very thin slices of turkey, two slices of roma tomatoes, small amount of lettuce and a burnt piece of bacon on each half of the sandwich with 3 thick slices of bread. I take off one slice of the bread and flip it to be a regular sandwich instead of double decker and even then the meat to bread ratio was ridiculous. All I tasted was bread. The chicken sandwich came with only mayo, no fries and no avocado. The server said she was sorry she forgot to tell her to drop the fries and they would be right out. They came about 15 minutes later. I asked her what else was to come on the sandwich, after she brought out the missing avocado, and she had to go back to the kitchen to ask the cook and then came back and said it was supposed to come with pico sauce but you were out of it. If that was the case she should have told us ahead of time so we could have had the opportunity to make a different selection. The service was poor and extremely slow, the food was not good. I do not send anything back with nothing good to say because I never know what the cook will do to my food so we just got up and were leaving. As we approached the hostess stand to pay we stood there for 5 – 7 minutes before anyone came out. When the hostess finally came to the register she asked me how everything was and I say «awful» and she said, without missing a beat or looking me in the eye, «I’m sorry, that will be $ 24.51.» No offer to get a manager or anything, I could not believe it. I just shook my head and looked at my niece and said, «the food would have been better at Arby’s, next time we will go there.»
It had been more than a decade since I had been to a Denny’s, now I remember why. Do not waste your time and definitely not your money.

This Denny’s rocks! I don’t understand all the bad reviews. My husband, children and I had been shopping at the Tanger Outlets in Jeffersonville and worked up an appetite. Because there are no Denny’s in Columbus anymore (BOO!) when we go out of town and want something cheap to eat we go here.
As soon as we walked in we were greeted and seated by the manager, whom was very friendly.
Our waitress was at our table within 1 minute to get our drink orders. She answered all of the questions we had about the menu. She was extremely nice. She brought us our drinks promptly and took our food order upon delivering our drinks. She immediately put in our food order. We had our food within about 25 minutes (yeah that is a little long to wait when it’s not busy but it’s all good!). Food was nice and hot and tasted very good (my husband and I tried the Baja version of Moons Over My Hammy… YUM!).
Our server refilled our drinks several times BEFORE it was all gone.
For a Denny’s restaurant, this was as good as I think it can get. The only way it could get better is if they gave us our food for free!
