This place has the BEST donuts ever. After eating them, the«hot now» sign at Krispy Kreme means nothing to me. They are very filling yet fluffy at the same time and melt in your mouth. I wish the 62 location had a drive thru but other than that, the place is fantastic!

Best donuts around. You will not be disappointed. The doughnuts are pricey but worth every penny. The apple fritter is amazing and their chocolate icing is to die for.

Great doughnuts, love the fritters. Some of the workers could use some tips in the customer service area. But other than that good place.

Jeff’s Bakery, newly arrived on East 10th St in Jeffersonville has a great assortment of doughnuts, and they are tasty. The staff there is nice, and friendly. The doughnuts are large, and just a tad bit pricey at $ 1.50 each. I would have given the place five stars, except that during my first and only visit there, I had asked a male employee a simple question, and he felt the need to put his bare hands on the donut just to answer the question. Not sanitary. He told me they have a peanut butter and jelly doughnut. I asked if there is actually peanut butter inside. He said yes, then held up the doughnut for me to see, pointed to the filling hole, then stuck his bare finger right on the filling hole to indicate where there was filling. Superfluous demonstration. My appetite was spoiled.

Worst. Donuts. Ever. I usually don’t write bad reviews, especially for local businesses, but these were the worst tasting donuts ever. At $ 18 per dozen, I wouldn’t recommend.

By far the best donuts in the area. I loved when they were close to downtown Jeff but their new place seems to be a better ft and now they are open 24⁄7! I’ve tried many donuts and tend to always find a new bakery when traveling and nothing compares to this bakery. You can’t go wrong with anything there. My personal favorites are plain long johns and peanut butter and jelly donuts!

Originally from Jeff, I live in south Florida where the chocolate long john is not even a visitor. These are the best I’ve ever eaten. I bought mine on Saturday and was still eating them on Monday morning and they taste as good as when I bought them. Their new location is a little bit of a hike but it’s WELL worth the drive!

I guess the move to the new location increased their overhead because the price of a donut went up to $ 1.50EACH! It appears they are open 24 hours a day now so I would expect if they are open 24 hours a day that donuts would taste fresh ALLDAY long and ALL Nite long. Definitely not the case-the donuts we got around 7PM tasted like day old donuts. For 1.50 a donut, I expect them to be fresh outta the oven! Granted they have more selections then Dunkin Donuts and Adrienne’s but they certainly are not as good as they were before and definitely not worth 1.50. Go to Adrienne’s! Their long johns are«to die for!»

We just moved to Jeffersonville and I was pleased to find a donut shop just around the corner from us. While I haven’t been in the location yet, but husband has brought donuts home on 2 occasions and they have been excellent both times. They are fresh, sweet without being overbearingly so and offer a fun and whimsical variety for your early morning(or late evening) sweet tooth. The apple fritter is wonderful and the caramel apple donuts is YUM, to put it simply.

Legendary donuts right here in Jeffersonville, IN! They aren’t the prettiest looking and they will set you back a buck fifty PER donut… but they’re worth the splurge! You won’t find a better donut around. And Jeff’s new location is open 24 hours! That’s a big plus. You haven’t lived until you’ve had a Jeff’s donut, at least once! 4 stars because of the steep price and they don’t offer any discounts for buying in bulk. It’s pretty much 1.50 X however many you need, which = $ 18/dozen. Yikes! The other reason for the 4* rating, their name would lead you to believe it’s a bakery, meaning I could get baked goods other than donuts. But since they moved to their new location it’s 100% donuts. That’s it. I get it, that’s what they’re best at and famous for. But if I didn’t already know the business I might drive here thinking I’d find cakes, cookies, etc too. Would’ve been 5 stars if it were just based on the taste and quality of the donuts though! They do sell light and dark roast coffee, and I’m picky about my coffee but Jeff’s passed my test of a decent cup of coffee on the go.

We stopped in on our way to a meeting. I was just going to get a cup of coffee. The ladies there were super friendly. They talked me into a orange dreamsicle long john. It was AMAZING!!! Honestly, it was the best donut I have had in a very long time! They are open 24 hours a day!

This place is awesome sauce! I happened to be over her for work and stumbled upon this place. The donuts are sooooooooo good. They are homemade in house and the owner is local #IndianaProud. I strongly recommend you make the trek across the bridge from Louisville, KY to try these donuts! The price is in line for the size of the donuts and the quality is superb. So far I have had the cream filled Long John with carmel icing and another one with chocolate icing. The cream filling is really creamy without being sickly sweet. The carmel icing was rich in flavor and smooth as was the chocolate icing and the application was in excess which I loved. The donut itself had a great texture and was perfect. I will return! I also added this spot to my GPS as a favorite! I would have provided a picture of my donut but I already ate it!

When I go into new places I have certain food favorites I use to test them. Like a fine recording used as a reference to sound check audio devices. It’s music that has a certain perfection you know exactly what it’s supposed to sound like. And when it’s right, oh man you know it! For Italian restaurants I check the meatballs, marinara and calzones. For sandwich shops it the Italian sub and quality of the breads. And for donut shops it’s the apple fritters and the quality of the fillings. And Jeff’s nailed both! I can feel the music and it’s playing just right. You should know that part of my 5 stars was service but also the fact that they get every subtle mouth watering flavor, texture, and visuals just right. The fritters at nearly everyplace I’ve had them in Louisville have been a waste of calories. Heavy, tasteless and overly sweet to make up for short changing you on enough apples and cinnamon. Jeff’s Apple fritter had a lightly crisp outside texture and chewy at the same time. The dough was not too heavy and it was woven with flavor, not just bread. But oh the flavor! Big chunks of tart apples, sweetly spicy cinnamon with a bite you knew was there without hiding under the dough or sugar glaze. The twisting goodness pulled apart with just enough resistance to tease at the confectionary perfection soon to grace your mouth, oh yeah! Give us s little privacy while I take my time with this sweet curvy perfection. Ok over the top yes but I’ve waited three years for a decent apple fritter(this is why I’m not supposed to go to bakeries). The fillings in the filled donut had a dark Dutch chocolate taste to it, leaning more toward a pudding than a custard or cream. But I can’t fault that as many people like it that way, for me I prefer a lighter filling like a cream over pudding but thats a personal preference. I hate filled donuts that only have a taste of the filling off to one corner either from being too cheaply prepared or simply of poor quality. Jeff’s were filled properly, oozing chocolate goodness that I had to catch with my tongue before it overflowed down my chin! The donut itself was light as it should be. Service was friendly and willingly engaged my questions while explaining the new opening, future plans, and asked for patience while they ramp up this new location. Which by the way is open 24 hours a day to support your late night sweet fix. They did suggest I call ahead to see what’s available or to allow them to plan for big orders because they are still hiring and not fully staffed yet.
