This was the second year we held Down Syndrome of Louisville’s talent show here and it was just as great of a venue this year. It’s so unique having the stage on the water and the seating on the grass. There was lots of extra foot traffic because of the bridge and the great places nearby. There are a lot of choices for where to eat before or after enjoying an event here, too. It’s a really beautiful venue in a great location.

What a beautiful stage! I was lucky to have been able to take in a show — the Down Syndrome of Louisville talent show — on this stage during one of the most beautiful days of the year. The temperature was perfect. The sky was blue. You can watch people make their way across the Big Four Bridge from the stage, and speaking of, next time I’m parking in Louisville and walking over the bridge to this stage. It was also so picturesque to see the Belle of Louisville and coal barges pass behind this stage. And adding something different to the mix, this stage is actually floating in the river. It’s not a part of the shore but a floating vessel. There was also ample pavilion-style seating, and street parking — in case you do decide to drive to the stage, as opposed to walking across the Big Four Bridge — was not hard to find in the area. All in all, another wonderful reason to journey across the Ohio River into Indiana.

First time ever being on the actual River Stage, but I am always down by it. Went there tonight for the Riverbreeze wine tasting event. I will definitely be making it back as long as they have it. Very nice event, great wine and food. It was the perfect night for an outdoor event like this as well. If I didn’t love where I live, I would want to live by the river in Jeffersonville that’s for sure!

The riverstage is a wonderful thing in Jeffersonville. There are free exercise classes Monday — Wednesday at 6pm and Yoga on Saturday mornings. There are concerts usually every Friday and movies each Saturday. Also, other events throughout the year. This is such a wonderful part of Jeffersonville and I’m so proud to live 3 blocks away from it.

I should’ve come here earlier in the summer. It’s a beautiful venue in Jeffersonville, a floating stage lined with tiki torches, with a tiered lawn for the audience to sit and enjoy concerts/events with the Ohio River as a backdrop. Directly across the river sits the Tumbleweed on River Road, boats cruise by, some stopping along the shore line to catch the music playing. On this evening, it was the Back to School Bash, a free event showcasing several local bands, many of the members still in high school, with bouncies for the younger set and a couple vendors pushing hot dogs and drinks. While some of the music wasn’t really for my age set, the bands weren’t bad and the boys had a blast.
