Subway Sandwiches

Quick service. Never had an issue with my food. Go here a lot on my lunch break at work. Very friendly workers.

Subway over the years has become my last place choice to eat, even behind McDonalds. It does not seem to matter what I order or where the location is the food has become bland, meats are nearly indistinguishable from one another and the breads are more just part of the paper wrapper than having any real taste or flavor.
Our family used to love Subway, it was out kid’s favorite place to go out when they were young but they don’t like it either anymore. So what has changed? The quality seems to be of the lowest possible the breads empty of taste and the service has really gone down hill at many locations.
Subway is so predictable to not need a review but this one hit a new low for me. We have a new Subway near work so it’s and obvious choice due to being nearly the only choice to get to fast but few of us use it.
I was in a hurry this week so I decided to try the drive through. It was dark and I could easily see inside that they were not busy. I pulled up and before even stopping the speak declares to hang on and I’ll get your order in a minute, not really very professional but no big deal. 12 minutes later, I backed up to look into the window to see why no one had come back, I saw two women working inside, one younger attractive girl flirting with the same two young men who were at the counter 12 minutes ago when I pulled up, and no one else. I pulled forward again which must have triggered the buzzer inside because the girl came on again and said hang on and was going again. 6 minutes past, I honked my horn and the girl came back on and mumbled some complaint then took my order. When I drove up to the next window to pay another 8 minutes passed, the girl finally came to take my card and tossed the sandwich in my window!
So when your in a drive through stop and pay attention to the time and try telling me you would not have given up after 3 – 4 minutes of being ignored. This took nearly half an hour to get my sandwich! Rude service and only to get what is arguably the worst sub sandwich money can buy.
No wonder everyone at my office take the time to drive further away to got to Jimmy Johns which has super fast service and a far better product.
