Very good service, very fresh beer. Food is good, wings are very good. Had a great time here with friends. Love the bar setup.

Good food but don’t use the ketchup. It looks like they’ve been refilling those disgusting bottles for years. Their version of boneless wings are terrific. Burgers are also among the best choices on the menu.

The tipsy turtle is a bar and restaurant. It is one of the few places that have root beer flavored beer. They are really known for their wings here and they have a lot of different flavors and options to choose from. The wings have a rating system marked by a flame. If the flavor has no heat there will be no flame next to the name of the seasoning. I would say they probably have 45 different types of sauces and 75% of those sauces are spicy or hot. The sauces that have one flame next to them are very mild and basic they go all the way up to five flames and then you have atomic You can go with just the classic wings or you can go for the boneless chop wings. They do have burgers they have brisket they have chicken sandwiches they have a lot of different food options other than wings. Their drink menu is extensive they have a lot of local brews as well as imported. Getting to the tipsy turtle was very interesting you turn off the main drag and you go down this road that it looks like you’re headed towards a residential area there’s all houses with culdisac it’s really interesting and then all of a sudden you hit this restaurant that you could easily pass on the corner. Overall the tipsy turtle is a really nice place I have no complaints about it. The food was good. I would recommend coming here we had a party of 14 people and they were pretty on top of stuff. I would recommend coming here if you’re in the area especially if you like wings PROS: — good wings a lot of sauces to choose from — good beer list CONS: –a little tricky to find the tipsy turtle at night

Really good bar food, especially the wings. They’re most known for their turtle bites– boneless wings, and it’s easy to see why. The chicken itself is very good and has a good texture and crispness to it and then they have a ton of wing sauce flavors. A lot of their flavors are slight variations of other sauces, but it still adds to the choices. The kicked up PB&J is my favorite, and despite not being hot at all is a lot better than the PB&J flavor that has won some awards for Ale Mary’s. The mango habanero and wet Cajun are also flavors that I would recommend.

This was a review originally posted at the wrong place so i’ll add it to the right place: Well i cant comment on the food. I can however comment on the terrible customer service. I went to Tipsy Turtle to hang out with friends that were moving away. Low and behold i forgot my ID, it was 5:30 on a Tuesday. So i said«that’s okay i wont sit at the bar, ill head to the dining room, ill take a coke and i would like to order some food» The waitress responded with«NO! You have to leave» and i was flabbergasted. There were children eating in the dining room and were not kicked out for being there, but a full grown person is kicked out for no apparent reason. She was the rudest person i have ever met, confused why she is in the service industry.

Turtle bites are awesome. I generally get the healthy bites. There’s no breaking. Servers and team are efficient, and friendly. We’ve never had to wait for anything. The burgers are great. Fries are fresh and made in house. Fajitas, Mac and cheese are delicious as well. They have numerous and plentiful beers on tap. Great locale, easy parking. Two thumbs up!

One of my favorite places to eat and have a few beers. It’s a nice relaxed atmosphere with plenty of TV’s to watch the big game. Good prices, good specials and a fun sports bar atmosphere.

I like this place, it is small but comfortable and it is always clean. I love the turtle bites(boneless wings) and all the different sauces they have to offer.

Tipsy on Market Street has always been my go-to bar/restaurant when I crave a good burger. Their Market Street burger has been my favorite for years. It’s a big, juicy burger served with fresh-cut fries and a dill pickel. Recently though, something has changed with the Market Street burger, and this change has made the burger even better. The taste is now beyond freshness! I do not know what is different but each bite is a journey of goodness. I also love this bar’s beer selection — both draft and bottle. Servers are always friendly and quick. Great burger place. I can’t give this place 5 Stars because their beer taps are not maintained on a regular basis. There’s a good chance the draft beer will be funky due to the bad taps.

Small bar in a small town… not much to expect. I’ve only been here twice and got food once. The food was pretty crappy, but it was bar food and I’m drinking so no big deal. The reason for the 2 stars is from my last time there. I went with several friends and met them there. While there I noticed they had a special for $ 2 Newcastle Werewolves. A very tasty brew. However, when I ordered it my friends scoffed because they sampled it and it was terrible. Seemed peculiar to me so I went ahead with it. Clearly it was on special because it was an old keg or not actually Newcastle. It tasted like a flat soda that someone dropped a butterscotch candy into. I only got thru ¾ of it. When I brought it back to the bar I ordered another drink and the bar tender just took it from me and walked away. I didn’t even have a chance to talk about it. Since it was $ 2 I let it go. Newcastle Werewolf is a limited release from earlier this year. Obviously they were pushing out old inventory. It was gross. Nothing about this bar made me want to go back.

I really do like this place. The staff has remembered me and what my order is since day 1. That alone is a big plus in my book. Plus, they are always friendly and upbeat. The burgers are excellent and I love their fried ice cream. Turtle Bites are really good, too.

Tipsy Turtle is one of my all around favorite places to go. Their«turtle bites»(boneless wings) are by far the best around. My last girlfriend was a vegetarian and they surprisingly had a ton of menu options for her too. Overall I’d describe the place as a nice local bar with slightly higher prices(definitely not pricey by any means but enough to keep the scumbags out) and much better food. I usually go in pretty late at night when it’s a little slower but the staff has always been great when I’ve been there. I really can’t say anything bad about the place. Definitely worth checking out.

I had such a horrible experience at this place that the story will probably be brought up for years to come. This was parade day last year and my friends and I had been out all morning/afternoon drinking. One of them lives in that area and told us all we should head to the Tipsy Turtle to get some food. We trekked over there, went in got a table and got ready to order. Let me be clear about the other questionable patrons. When we were there several of the table had children sitting at them. Children in a bar scenario always seems odd to me, but whatever. Sometimes these small towns are just like that. We went to make our orders and suddenly mid way through our ordering(none of us ordered any drinks) they wanted to see our IDs. My girlfriend and I had expired licenses so we also had our passports with us.(Exactly what had allowed us to drink all morning.) However, the server decided that wasn’t a valid form of ID because«passports can be so easily replicated». Oh okay. That must by why when teens buy fake IDs they get passports. So they wouldn’t serve a table of 9 women in their mid-twenties food because two of them had passports. Okay, fine. We would rather spend our money elsewhere so we went to leave. Then as we were leaving a loose dog jumps into our car!(I know it sounds like I am making this up.) We got him our of the car(it was a pit bull, thank goodness it was friendly) and started to drive away. Then the dog jumped on our windshield. Of the car. As it was moving! So one of the girls had to go into the craptastic bar to get someone to hold the dog so we could get out of there. Yes, it scratched up the car. As we thought about the incident more and more it started to sound more and more bizarre. It doesn’t help that my girlfriend is black and she and I are lesbians. It obviously makes you wonder what their motivations were when they denied us service. The children eating in the same place and the fact that none of us were even ordering alcohol made it all the more peculiar. I did call to speak to the owner and he was extremely rude and made up some nonsense that made me think he was behind us having to leave to begin with. We had dinner at another bar(The Arena) and it was delicious so I think all worked out for the best.
