Where to begin? Bagel Break has been at the helm of my maturation, my good days and bad days, and at the service of the community for years. After expanding the space not too long ago, Bagel Break has really grown into what it’s meant to be. It’s a hell of a lot cooler(temperature-wise) inside. There are more seats and more wiggle room for patrons. As far as breakfast goes, the fare is pretty good. I always find myself going back to a classic breakfast sandwich. Sausage, steak or pork roll options will forever cure my appetite. I will admit, at times the bagels aren’t all that great. Sometimes they’re a little hard to chew. So as far as consistency goes, I wouldn’t be shocked to hear you received an underwhelming bagel. Bagel Break does get packed at peak hours(Yesterday, a Sunday morning, a line was out the door)! But the four stars are for its welcoming attitude and its place as the central hub for affordable breakfast in Jensen Beach.

Awesome bagel! Had a BLT on an egg bagel with 3 pepper cheese and it reminded me of NY. They got my favorite breakfast sandwich on point, wasn’t too expensive but prices are nothing to brag about. They were pretty busy but kept the line moving, which was nice since I had to be back from my lunch at a certain time. Staff was very nice and courteous, an overall pleasant experience. The orange juice I bought there was pretty delicious too! My job also ordered from them on Black Friday for the poor unfortunate souls working at 5am and everyone liked them!

Bagel break is some of the best breakfast food I’ve ever had. To my understanding, all of their bagels and bread are homemade. Yum! The loaded wrap is delicious and if you stop in for lunch they have an amazing philly! Staff is very friendly and Cassidy is now a friend :)

Okay place to get a bagel. Their prices are pretty reasonable, but the veggies cream cheese I had today had almost no vegetables or flavor to it.

Great bagels, French toast, and loaded homefries… def a place to go for a «home cooked» meal with speedy service. Everything made to order…

My wife and I stopped in here around 10 am on a Sunday for bagels. This was strictly a bagel and iced coffee mission, but we were both surprised at the depth of the menu. In addition to the long list of bagels, they also offer an extensive full breakfast menu, and lots of lunch options. The restaurant was busy, but efficient. The line was about 10 deep in front of us, but the employees kept it moving in a courteous manner. We ordered an asiago bagel with veggie cream cheese, and an everything bagel with garlic and herb cream cheese.
The asiago bagel had the cheese mixed into the dough, and wasn’t melted on top like I’m used to. I could smell the asiago cheese, but it was difficult to taste over the cream cheese. For that reason, it’s not the best I’ve ever had. The everything bagel was better with an appropriated amount of toppings, and not overly salted. The garlic herb cream cheese had more flavor than the veggie cream cheese. A garlic herb cream cheese with crunchy veggies would be even better. The bagels were served, toasted and open faced. The bagels had a nice crunchy, chewy exterior from being boiled(major bonus points), but the inside of the bagel was overly puffy and fluffy. The bagels were still better than many places in Florida, but not as good as offerings I’ve had elsewhere in the NE. They offer a few different selections of ice coffee in a refrigerated case in self-serv containers. They offer a couple different flavors like hazel nut and French vanilla in addition to regular and decaf. This is not pre-sweetened, crap coffee. It’s freshly brewed and chilled. You can add your own dairy, ice and sugar as you see fit. I really prefer this method. Overall, I’d give this place 4 stars. The coffee and service were great. The staff was super friendly in a busy environment, so major kudos for that. The bagels were good, but not great. Perhaps if I could explore the other menu options I’d be willing to up the star count to 5, but for a place with«bagel» in the name they need to nail the execution of the bagel. They are close. I’d definitely eat here again.

Great homemade bagels! They have many offerings for vegetarians, some for vegans. During tourist season the line can be long, but it’s efficient and the employees are kind.

Came here from Kansas and my brother-in-law took me here. Pretty good place to eat breakfast. Cheap, great tasting, and they food was prepared fast. I’m amazed at how many retirees live down here, ha ha. That had nothing to do with the review just an observation.

Great food, fast to dine in or to go. Good prices, everything’s fresh. The coffee is usually terrible for some reason

If you like bagels, go to Maxs bagels! Maxs bagels are by far a lot better! I don’t think bagel break is particulary bad, I just don’t think their bagels are fantastic. It’s better than einstiens, but of all the bagel places on the treasure coast, I prefer max’s bagels BYFAR.

This place is proof that even the most nondescript location can turn out some amazing food. From the basic bagel to a masterfully created omelette or the amazing home fries Bagel Break is a go to breakfast spot in Jensen Beach. Consistently delicious no matter when you show up and the amazing ladies behind the counter make you feel welcome and appreciated. I may not always be up in time for breakfast but I moved across the street just to be closer to Bagel Break!

Nice mom & pop bagel place open early morning to mid-afternoon. Came in for a later lunch, and although they were close to closing up shop, we didn’t feel rushed. Small Fry and I brought our own gluten-free bagels, and they were gracious enough to toast them for us. The tuna salad was great, just enough mayo added with small dices of onion and celery. Split pea soup was good as well, nice flavor and piping hot. The rest of our party enjoyed their lunch, and the only complaint I heard was«too much cream cheese», to which I laughed… because really, is there anything as too much cream cheese? I think not…

We go there about once a week after dropping off kid at school. Bagels are good, muffins are good, eggs and home fries cooked to order. Most importantly, they have a good egg cook who knows what he is doing. Staff is friendly and helpful. Place is small, approximately 30 – 35 seats inside and about 16 outside(best guess). I can’t think of a better breakfast place in this area.

The open face fresh sliced nova bagel was the best I have ever had.
