Went at opening was 1st customer, approached by salesman immediately I told him I was looking for a small revolver as a nightstand piece and to also take to a range to let my wife shoot. Well first words out of his mouth(I’m 62 yo grey and had a cane recent hip surgery) were older woman have a tough time pulling trigger back on his first recommended hand gun 38 spcl. 5 shot revolver. I was set back by his comment and had to tell him my wife was only 36 years old. Next he assumed I think that maybe I couldn’t afford what I was looking for he immediately told me and showed me a USED38 Ruger? For $ 50 more I could have gotten a brand new one. An other customer came over in the meantime he started showing him guns and left me without saying a word I waited and looked around another 10 minutes with no contact whatsoever I walked out. I then went to American Defense on Salerno rd in Stuart where I bought a new S&W along with amo for it and another gun all at a lot less $. Never again Lotus. You lost a $ 900.00 sale today.

Terrible customer«service.» Brought an item to the customer«service» area to ask for a price as it was not marked and the guy looked at it, tossed it back and said«$ 29.95 I think.» Didn’t buy it and won’t be back.

I went back to lotus for an issue with a firearm i recently purchased .they went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect! !Also we decided to shoot at the range and try a few different guns… everyone was awesome and made sure i was doing everything the right way… I’ve decided I’d like to try the 9 mm one more time!

I don’t know people wrote such bad reviews! This place was great. They sold me a pistol, gave me a military discount(available also to law enforcement), and had service with a smile. The ammo at the range was pretty cheap. The range officers were friendly and helpful. I don’t know what else people would want out of a gun store! The girl with the short hair that worked the register wasn’t too friendly, but made it apparent that she REALLY liked my girlfriend!

I ordered a striped lower for an AR-15 build and the FFL transfer fee was outrageous. $ 55??? That’s crazy. But I should have expected it with everything else being overpriced as well. Employe’s were not the kindest. I would expect friendly. Not talking down to me. Wouldn’t buy anything from them. Only thing they have is a cool overpriced shooting range.

We went to the Lotus Gunworks range in February and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly to us novice shooters. They were very patient with our questions, helped load the guns, and it was an all-around fun experience. Plus, the whole premises were clean and well-kept.

A good selection of firearms, but the prices are very high up there and their trade in offers are ludicrously low. I’ve been in many times, and bought as well as transferred firearms though them. The staff comes off as pretty arrogant, and you feel like a nuisance at best. Most of the time I was ignored, and when I did manage to flag someone down they treated me like an idiot. My dad bough his first AR through them, and they cajoled him into getting a .300 blackout upper, claiming you could find the ammo anywhere. This was a couple years ago when it first came out. We couldn’t find .300 anywhere but at Lotus. He finally went back and bought a 5.56 upper and hasn’t looked back. Haven’t had a chance to try their range. It’s brand new, and looks high tech. But as a gun store they just don’t make you feel welcome. You get the sense they’re just looking for a sale, and no one seems really keen to help you out. Plenty of other stores out there

I am a certified gunsmith and hold not only a state firearms license but a federal license also. Shooting is my hobby and I teach people how to handle firearms. Lotus in Jensen Beach is without a doubt the WORST example of a gun shop I have ever seen in my 50+ years. I gave the place three visits. Arrogance from all salesmen, outrageous high prices, INSULTINGOFFER for trade in and this was the experience all three times. There are so many places to buy and trade firearms but they think they are the only place available. I kid you not when I say I bought firearms for 50% less elsewhere. I wouldn’t have written this but other people I know have had the same experience.
