I am so addicted to this place. I will never go back to red mango again. I love the flavors and the toppings are so freaking good. I love love loveeeee 16 handles lol

Time and time again this location pulls through with always having the dairy free vanilla, it’s a weakness of mine and disappointed when the other location close to me is very inconsistent. This place is always clean and very friendly staff.

I’ve been going here for years and I must say its the best Fro-Yo on Long Island! I have tried the competitors and they don’t come a close second. The place is always clean when you walk in and they have great staff. It’s called 16 handle because they have 16 flavors of frozen yogurt and you pull the handle. You get the choice of a bowl or cone, once you decide you add any topping you like. Bananas, chocolate, cookies dough, and sprinkles are a small few they offer. After your done with the food decorations you weight it and that’s how you pay! It’s a great idea because if you want to save money, don’t add a lot of toppings. For me it’s a treat so I go crazy! I like the brownie bites. If you need to go somewhere to hang out with friends I suggest you give 16 handles a try. Also for the great Fro-Yo too!

My favorite type of ice cream. Taste better than Carvel and much more healthier for you too. It’s self serve and they have so many delicious toppings that you can add, healthy and not so healthy ones. Their rewards program is the best! You just keep adding up points and almost every time I go I end up paying less because of my rewards that are redeemed as cash.

The new nutella flavor is amazing!!! Had«miss you» points somehow(and texts they gave me $ 1 on my card since its raining out) so basically free fro-yo again, gah love this place!!! Edit– The new salted caramel cookie dough flavor is INCREDIBLE… At first it’s a strong salted taste but I got used to it quickly tasting the cookie dough. Best flavor I’ve ever had there, I hope it stays!

There’s nothing I can say about 16 handles. I love how they change up the favors. The vanilla green tea is amazing! Their yogurt is always thick and creamy and the tops are always fresh and stocked! And every location has lived up to my expectations

I actually hate giving bad reviews but maybe this will be more like constructive criticism. I LOVELOVELOVE the 16 handles franchise!!! I go to all of their locations in the city and LOVE the other location in Lynbrook. However… This location falls waaaaaaay below what I’m used to when visiting a 16 handles. There was hardly any yogurt in any of the machines. I had to stand there waiting and hoping some would eventually come out. The toppings area was was messy and the fresh fruit was not so fresh. I had even asked the guy behind the counter as to why the strawberries looked so old and gross… His reply was«we actually just put those out» Moving on to eating the actual yogurt… It was not good at all. That was the first time that I didn’t actually all but inhale my frozen cup of goodness. It tasted kinda sour and being that it was mixed with the sucky toppings… I had no choice but to give up and throw it away. The customer service also fell way below any other store I’ve visited as well. Probably won’t be returning to this location unfortunately. I almost gave up on 16 handles all together until I got my fix at their Lynbrook location yesterday. FYI– you would think all of this happened at the end of the day towards closing as to why maybe this visit was such a train wreck… But no. It was the middle of a beautiful weekend day.

Their cookies and cream yogurt is delicious. I HAVE to get some every time I pass by this place. It’s like it calls to me. They have a fantastic selection of toppings to try though I’m partial to chocolate sprinkles. Their staff is so nice even when I manage to spill said sprinkles everywhere. Oops.

I find myself continuing to go here as my late-night desert spot. The hours run late, which is highly convenient. All employees there are extremely friendly, greeting you as you walk in, and all smiles as they ring you up. I feel like almost every other time I go there, I have rewards for $ 5 and up toward frozen yogurt. Awesome. The only negative I would give is how the indoor seating is in one long row, leading to everyone staring down whoever enters(this may also relate to the location being Jericho!)

The first time I came to 16 Handles, I fell in love. They have 16 types of frozen yogurt that change seasonally with limitless toppings(fruits, granola, candy, etc.) My favorites are chocolate and coconut. 16 Handles is always clean, yogurt is low in calorie and allergy info is always displayed.

Here’s the deal… delicious pay by weight, so you should… get the salted caramel and load it up with those pebbly crushed almonds(light in weight, great amount of flavor and texture)

You can get 16 handles without any of the love handles! Delicious low-calorie option for all you dessert lovers out there! With 16 flavors, that you can even mix two flavors together, or just get a little bit of everything, the options are literally endless. They have fruits, mini-cheesecakes, coconut, do I really need to keep going? It’s a fabulous way to keep the calories to a low, and the flavors just the same! I especially love their fresh strawberries! Give it a go — avoid the peak hours, there are too many little kids and honestly they’re just messy, and the toppings just get a bit dirty. Overall a good joint, watch your serving size as it gets expensive quickly — TIP: Go for the smaller cup so it’ll force you to not get too much! Happy Summer! :)

Yesterday was the perfect day to go here since it was so hot! There was a nice variety of flavors. I had a little bit of everything, such as cookies and crème, coffee, coconut, peanut butter, and red velvet. I also liked the selections of toppings. I added mini peanut butter cups and mochi. There were a fair amount of customers, but I didn’t have to really wait to use the self serve machines or stay on line too much. In addition, I was able to find a seat in the seating area, which was pretty comfortable. I think I got a generous serving of fro yo to satisfy my cravings for around $ 5.60.

Love the different selections of flavors here. I tried the chocolate eruption which was good, the birthday cake(literally tasted like a birthday cake but in frozen yogurt), the coffee was so-so and the red velvet which was okay. This concept is certainly not that innovative. There are plenty of chains popping up that are«create your own» just the fact that you actually serve yourself might be a bit more fun. The inside is decorated very cute — it’s pinkberry meets dylans candy shop etc. I liked the idea that they display the nutrition facts on the frozen yogurt but hey with toppings like m&m’s, cheesecake bits(which I loved!) and pretty much every type of candy under the sun… who’s counting calories anyway? I think this shop beats the average red mango /pinkberry and if they change the flavors it might just be a keeper!

ewwww. I walked in and it was packed filled with little kids all the way up to groups of adults, needless to say it was loud and there was no where to sit. No biggie I move on and I wait in line to get my frozen yogurt and I am really enjoying the selection of flavors, a little bit of this a little bit of that. ohh now I get to pile on the candy. YUM what could be bad? Then it all goes sour. I pay for my small yogurt and okay its not cheap it came out to about $ 9.00, fine whatever its a novelty. This is when I drew the line. I found a place to sit after a few minutes and I am watching people pile on candy and I see this little girl peed on herself THEN she scratches her wet pajama pants and puts her hand in the candy! VOMIT. very unsanitary, her parents let her grab things with her hands is bad enough but the fact that she was touching her wet pee pee pants on top of everything is enough to make me want to barf. The next people to eat the oreos or whatever it was she was touching(more then one item) had a little bit of… uggh you know where I am getting at. No thanks. I am sticking with Yogurt and Such.

ok having lost 170+ pounds, the one thing i’ve constantly been looking for has been anything that can satisfy my sweet cravings without wrecking my new lifestyle choices… On a recommendation, i decided to check out this place and I must say I WASBLOWNAWAY, literally… Fresh and creative Yogurt flavors that have nutritional info right in front of the handle is one original idea. And the flavors are amazing, as you can choose from tart mango to white chocolate macademia and from red velvet to chocolate eruption…(and these are just 4 flavors of the many choices available with the pull of a handle, so get pulling). the idea is amazing as creativity and imagination play a big part and can keep the customer quite busy creating numerous combinations. Once you fill your biodegradable cup with some awesome yogurt, you then face a toppings bar that ranges from assorted fruits to candies and other various toppings to individualize your yogurt experience… what more can one ask for… Overall, the place is not to be missed and cannot wait till the port washington location opens up… Love this place…

That’s it! …I’m in love. Yes, the romantic, gushy, silver screen type of love. I love choice, I love creativity and most of all I love froyo. 16 handles delivers. Some people think the name sounds like a new strip joint, some muster up images of 80s teen flicks in their heads — but, I knew better. 16 handles of delicious frozen treats awaited me. Self serve Kiwi Strawberry, Mango, Peanut butter, pistachio, euro tart, vanilla, chocolate… and other yummy flavors. Don’t forget the 25+ toppings you can put on and caramel/chocolate syrup! You can make your froyo so eclectic it’s terribly disgusting to everyone but you. They change the flavors pretty often and some are a little under par in the flavor dept(peanut butter/cake batter/pistachio) but the key here is diversity! This place gets so crowded at night; you’d think there’d be something other than froyo attracting people like mosquitoes to the light here. Nope! Also: Good luck finding a place to sit. North shore moms in Ugg(ly) boots and furry vests will nudge you off the pastel colored seating along the wall while you’re enjoying your frozen treats. Did I mention? It’s pay by weight. I found it ever so slightly cheaper than red ripoff(cough, I mean red mango). Still, with all the variety, you can expect to pay around $ 5 walking out of here.
