I LOVELOVELOVELOVE this place! The staff is ADORABLE, and their food is bounty plenty huge, satisfying. Penny candy, country store antiques, home made pastries — oh so Vermont. Picnic tables across the street are an invitation to a private nature party. Subs are HUGE! Quaint, so USA! So Vermont, SOCOOL!

Über friendly and their breakfast sandwiches are soooooooo good. The eggs are good and the sausage tender and moist, and the ham is packed with flavor. I am DEFINITELY going back when I go back to Vermont. Their lunch paninis are delicious. They just didn’t have horseradish for my sandwich and that was the missing ingredient to mine — thus, they know how everything work together.

Unique Vermont products, essential staples, this store has it all. They also offer Vermont Maple Creemees and local grass-fed beef from Jericho Settler’s Farm. Prices are reasonable, service is friendly. Beautiful surroundings, especially during foliage season… worth the drive if you are in Northern Vermont! Skip Burlington and tour the small towns instead. You will not be disappointed.

The Quintessential country store with kind people working it and tons of local offerings. I hear the sandwiches are very good. The Maple creemees are loved by all in the summer time. This is the oldest continuous running store in Vermont, and this is a good thing.

A landmark in the town of Jericho that recently celebrated its 200th year. It may of changed names over the years but the purpose of this store still lives. As with many small towns in Vermont, The Jericho Center Country Store has a little of everything for those not looking to drive to Essex or Burlington for some things. Many memories of stopping off for milk, a quick bite, candy, creemees and top off the car with gas. Driving past this store throughout my entire time of living in Jericho, you always knew someone in the place and got filled in on the news of the town. With technology and a centerpiece of a town being less apparent and needed, the Jericho Center Country Store still fills that need and thrives. Also, it’s the home of Snowflake Bentley so be sure and learn about the man that photographed snowflakes and discovered no two are alike. Stop in for a plethora of items and friendly service. You won’t be disappointed.
