Dr Mandel is one of the most caring and sincere doctors I have ever seen. I have had a history of skin conditions for many years and have been to more than my share or Dermatologists in the past. Most of them don’t take the time to hear your problem and all they want to do is look at you for five seconds and have their nurse give you this medicine or that medicine.
Dr Mandel actually sat down and listened to what I said and asked me many questions. He then examined me (more thorough than any exam I had ever had), took some tests, and then explained to, yes he explained to me, about my condition and the way it should be treated.
His staff was super nice, and they were extremely accommodating to my busy schedule. I did have to fill out a whole bunch of paperwork and then wait about 15 minutes before I saw Dr Mandel, but they did have televisions in each room so it didn’t seem so long.
I didn’t even realize he has an office in Manhattan so I was even able to schedule my follow up visit at his New York office which is much better for me.
