US Post Office

I don’t understand the low rating for this post office. I actually go out of my way to go to this post office if I need to mail a package because I love the staff at this post office. They’re quickly, friendly, and EFFICIENT!!! The lines are usually short or non-​existent. On the rare times the lines are long (like for Christmas), I don’t wait very long because everyone works so quickly.
The staff is very helpful in making sure that I ship using the best method (combination of fast and cheap).

Up until this point, I’ve enjoyed coming to this post office. The staff up front are nice and usually helpful. Recently, I stopped by with questions about an EDDM. The front staff didn’t know anything about it so they asked some man who was sitting all the way in the back. Despite the fact that I had many questions and was new to EDDM, this lazy sack would not leave his seat to come up and answer my questions. The poor guy up front had to go back and forth between the front and back of the building. The postcard used for EDDM was shown to him and I specially asked if I needed any sort of labels or room for printing; he said the card was fine as is and they just stuff the mailer in the mailboxes so no addressee or postage.
I left, printed $ 450 worth of flyers, went back to a different post office and was told that I did need the label and indicia printed and the cards were denied for mailing. I checked on this and confirmed it to be true.
So basically, I just threw $ 450 out the window because this slob was not only too lazy to get up but clearly unknowledgeable about his job.
It’s a shame I had to put this review up since everyone there usually is nice and helpful.
Word of advice, don’t trust the word of the post office employees. Google it and check with your printing company too.

A tiny little post office that most people seemingly overlook. This is good, because the lines are short.

Small post office right near the Whole Foods. Very tiny but I got in and out of line quickly enough. Not overly friendly or anything but pretty much the best you can hope for if you have to go to the post office.
