Domenick’s used to be the best, but it’s kinda going down hill lately. I find myself trying more and more different places. They always seem to burn the pizza anymore.

The Scranton area has a glut of pizza shops, so I think this place gets overlooked. It’s actually really good and pretty cheap! There’s a small sitting area inside if you want to eat in, but it’s ungodly hot in the summer. Don’t bother with the hoagies… they’re small and unimpressive. The pizza, however, is phenomenal. The sauce is on the sweet side(just as I like it) and the crust is really good. I really like the onions they use — they are sweet white onions. The pizza comes in several size up to an extra large, which is around 18 inches. Besides being delicious, it’s one of the cheaper pizza shops in the area, which is what makes it such as gem. The lady at the counter always gives me whatever the current species is if I happen to order it… for example, there is usually a coupon for an extra large pizza and a 2 liter of soda for the price of just the pizza, so she tells about it when I come to pick it up.

Not from the area but look forward to the pizza when in town. Good NY style pizza at a reasonable price. No frills place but don’t let that fool you.
