Used to be delicious, but like other reviewers have said — certainly has gone downhill. Service is less than exceptional. It seems like the waitresses don’t really want to be there. I lived in Jermyn, so this was a place we frequently both dined in and ordered out simply due to convenience. The food is pricy for what you’re getting. It usually tastes okay, but not for the price you pay. You can get the same items but better for less if you drive a mile in any direction past the Windsor. Once a landmark in the area, it’s sad to see how downhill they have gone. I truly think it’s an issue of the staff. Food quality is inconsistent, and as I previously mentioned, it’s hard to enjoy your meal when the waitress makes it feel like she’s being held there against her will. This is an ongoing issue over several occasions, including(even especially, actually) for takeout orders.

Over priced poor quality food in an unclean setting. This place has seen better days. Save your money and drive by as you will be disappointed. I stopped here with my two children, the bill was almost $ 50 dollars for three small orders of wings with a drink of soda each. They charge extra for blue cheese and celery, I think it added like 6 dollars to our order. My sons refill was a couple more dollars.

Their wing sauce used to be so great. It’s still good but they barely put any on the wings anymore. Ask for extra sauce. It’s a shame that you’ll be charged extra for it.

Gave this place another go. Even though service was really great, the wings just were not«2nd best» in the world. They’re nothing special. We have so many great wings in NEPA that you’re better off skipping this place and venturing to other locations.

The Windsor is too pricey for the quality of food. It’s definitely not how it was in its heyday. The service usually isn’t great either. The bar closes early, and most of the time it’s almost impossible to get more than one drink. I grew up going to The Windsor almost every week. It saddens me that the owners no longer seem to care about the quality of their restaurant. They should sell it to someone who can bring it back to what it was, or at least hire a good general manager to run it.

Four visits, all in the evening, about an hour before closing. Had the wing sampler all four times, asked for extra crispy, with fries, beer. Chicken was delicious, particularly the Thai wings, which were the most memorable. Wings are not complicated faire, let’s be honest. But the Thai were amazing enough that that’s what I recommend people try when the topic comes up, and it’s what I most look forward to. The service was acceptable. This is not fine dining, it’s a wing joint. They made us feel welcome even though we were the last customers of the day each time. I chatted with the boss twice when I saw him, he was friendly, and clearly knows his business. The food is not«cheap», and the restaurant business is not a charity. The best days of the place judging by the décor are clearly past, and the owner is likely in the«take money out of the business» phase of his life. However — I will continue to make this the place I go after my quarterly«board meetings» with my bros. However, I don’t recommend the place for kids, it’s a restaurant wrapped around a bar.

I visited a couple of times in the past but never had a good food unfortunately(specially when expect good wings) so I stopped going there.

Tasteless mild wings. Absolutely no tang or flavor at all. The kids were stealing my super hot wings(which cost more but I can’t figure out why) because they had a little more flavor and really were not hot at all. They nickle and dime you to death with the extras that are free at other places and the food is for people who really enjoy the blandest food on earth. The cheese and gravy fries were mostly cheese with very little gravy or fries. Some one ordered the bucket of fries and the bucket was so small I had to laugh. A small cup of coffee might actually be bigger than it. I really used to enjoy this place, but I will no go back.

How do they have the world’s second best chicken wings? It must be a scam or something because they are great, but not the best. Just average and don’t stand out. They have a very broad menu of appealing food, which seems a bit overpriced. Service is slow at some moments but are friendly. Décor needs some work, even if they are getting at a wooden décor. Boring and too cluttered. Buffalo wings are fine, but are very small and overpriced. Texture is weird, but the wing itself is quality. Love the sauces that they used and the authentic American flavors they were aiming for. The fried shrimp with cocktail sauce was very delicious, but lack detail of flavorful ingredients. The overall plating was sloppy. Shrimp were tender and cooked perfectly. I don’t know if they made their own cocktail sauce or if it was bottled, but it tasted all right. Love to come here when we are up in the area, but not a fantastic place.

Stopped in here last time I was in PA, and by stopped in, I mean I drove 3 hours just to try the wings. The menu had some interesting items. I tried the Warsaw wings, which sounded like an amazing idea, but they weren’t as great as I had hoped. The actually wings on the other hand, were fantastic. Not the best wings I have had, but close. I rate these ahead of those guys in Buffalo. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the entire experience was memorable. Not the fanciest place, and it is sort of in the middle of nowhere, but well worth the drive.

Awhile back, this was one of my favorite places to eat. Over the past two years, I feel that the quality of service, food, and atmosphere has diminished significantly. The prices are too high for the size and quality of the food you get. Also we used to order out a lot, but after multiple times of incorrect orders we no longer order from here.

Very average wings and way over priced, celery and bleu cheese $ 2.00 extra who does that? $ 10.00 salads are you kidding me? 6 perogies for $ 8.25, 8″ subs for $ 9.00 I won’t be back.

Poor Service especially from the owner. The wings are way overpriced, they charge extra for celery and bleu cheese. The wings have 10 per order not a dozen like most places, they are always undercooked or overcooked with a scant amount of meat. The warsaw wing pierogies however are the only reason I gave this place any stars. The pizza is by far the worst I have ever had. Watch with take out orders because they always get it wrong

If you are in the mood for great wings and friendly service … GOELSEWHERE! Wings are small, devoid of meat and puddled in an unpleasant sauce. Service is spectacularly inattentive and unfriendly. It should be a crime to call their pizza ‘pizza’. On the plus side, their cheesesteak did have cheese and steak … Even for dive bars/restaurants, you can do much better in the wing/pizza/sandwich arena in NEPA(Scranton Wlikes-Barre for those using the search tool).

The wing sauce is ok. Def not 2nd best. Be careful because in my experience the wings are always soggy and in a ton of sauce, so you may want to ask for crispy wings. They don’t have wing nights, and they don’t even give free blue cheese and celery with wings. That’s $ 2 extra! The wings are like $ 7 for 10. So add the extras and you’re looking at $ 9 for 10 mediocre wings. The staff is usually very rude. They have a few waitresses that have been there way over their useful stay. I have no idea why the owner hasn’t fired them, being that they are slow, rude, and snippy. Especially the older white haired woman. Food is WAYOVERPRICED! And everytime I turn around, they are raising their prices by a significant amount! They need to lower their prices, or offer higher quality food. Costs more to eat there than a full course dinner at a nicer restaurant.

This place doesn’t even deserve any stars. We walked in, walked up to the counter and were looked at many times by the waitresses and were offered no help at all. Some old woman sat there counting money and still didn’t offer any help. About 5 to 7 minutes later a waitress walked by and asked us if we were being helped in a rude way. After we said«no we aren’t» she said«oh.really?» And the old woman rudely shouted«there’s no tables.» And then we were told there would be a 15 minute wait. We walked out. Horrible and rude service. Place smelled. Never going back.

The wings — the claim to fame here — are just okay. Small in size, more soggy than crispy, sauce has the texture of tomato paste. I’ve had worse, but I personally prefer a crispy, meaty wing with a zesty sauce. The pizza is not appealing… very little sauce, pre-fab flat and flavorless crust, cheese is more American than anything else. The walls in the dining room are carpeted.

In my opinion these are some of the best buffalo wings in NEPA. This restaurant boasts the world’s second best hot wings… Being I have yet to visit Buffalo, NY… to me these are Number 1! This place however, has so much more than just wings… As an appetizer I recommend the«Warsaw Wings Casserole»…sounds interesting doesn’t it… it is! 4 deep fried pierogies, smothered in buffalo wing sauce and bleu cheese. YUUUM! :-P If for some odd reason you are here and do not feel like having wings, e.g. your parents drag you along and you are just not in the mood. I recommend trying one of their burgers… my favorite is the«Sloppy Spicy Cheesey Burger» 2 burgers on a bun, served in a bowl and topped with cheddar cheese, chili, jalapenos, mustard & onions. The onions might be a bit strong so you might want to order it without. On a visit here last fall, my family and I had a celebrity sighting! Bronson Pinchot, aka«Balki Bartokomous» from the sitcom«Perfect Strangers». We spotted him dining here with his family. He lives near by in Harford, PA. I found this pretty ironic… I’m always in NYC and never see anyone famous, I’m at a restaurant near home and voila! …So uhh eat where Balki eats! you won’t be dissapointed :-P
