Looking for something good to eat before going on our Ghost tour. We found a GREAT place with wonderful service, The Bordello of Jerome. Barry treated us really well. They have so many choices you can’t go wrong. Enjoy.

Excellent food. We were all blown away by the quality and taste of the food. The service was very good as well. Good music, so an overall great place to have lunch.

We came to Jerome for and overnight anniversary staycation this weekend and we wanted to try different restaurants so we decided we try appetizers, We started here and we got the french kiss and it was absolutely fantastic. I really wanted to take some home with me!!!

First time in this magical town. We had the kindest waiter and beautiful service. We all ordered something different, along with a couple appetizers and everything was absolutely delicious. The menu itself is quite interesting, unique, and very flavorful. We were told about this being the best restaurant in town by a shop owner nearby, and again by a local. I can’t wait to come back and try other things on the menu! The organic jasmine liquor drink was to live for!

What a great little place. Sunday of course and close to closing so it was a ghost town. Hahaha! Get it… You walk in to a ragged old building and find yourself in a cozy little dining area. Small little hole in the wall bar filled with some liquor. Waitress was sweet and was Johnny on the spot with service. Probably cause we were the only ones there but I think she’d jump for you too. Fun art work decorates the place and it’s all for sale. Bathrooms decent size and the best part is you can drop a deuce while checking out the neighborhood. I went with the #69 — the sexy swine. A boar burger with mushrooms and spinach, havarti cheese and a jalapeño apricot sauce. Picked the rebel-½ sweet fries and regular fries. My lovely little girl had a nice boring cheeseburger with ketchup and my Amiga had the femme fetal. From the boring cheeseburger with ketchup to these masterpieces we devoured our lunch enthusiastically. The sweet fries were good, a little sweet for my taste but the regular steak fries were pretty awesome. We didn’t leave one of those bad boys in the graveyard that’s how good they were. If you’re in Jerome, this is 1 of those places I definitely recommend eating at.

Lot’s of vegetarian options! For the table we had a the Truffle Tramp Flatbread as an appetizer that was small but delicious! For my entrée I had the Portobello Power Exchange that I would definitely order again in a heartbeat! The server was kind enough to suggest some homemade side dipping sauces that he brought to the table. The chipotle mayo was amazing and I slathered it all over my portobello burger!

I love the menu selections, it has something for everyone. The wait staff was genuine and wonderful, absolutely loving and warm. The ambiance is delightfully and organically corky. But the food… Oh man… The food! Stellar experience all around.

Food was pretty good; service was less than stellar, even while we were the only ones in the restaurant.

We were up in Jerome to pick up our wine club shipment from Passion Cellars and decided to try The Bordello, since we’d never eaten there before. Good thing we were there on a Friday, since we usually cruise through Jerome earlier in the week, and we would have missed out, since The Bordello is only open late Friday-Sunday. Deciding on a burger was difficult because so many of the options sounded so interesting, but I ended up getting the Cuban Mary(grilled mushrooms and bleu cheese) with sweet potato fries. The burger was amazing — the meat was fresh and grilled perfectly, the bun tasty, the toppings amazing(the bleu cheese was melted to perfection). And the sweet potato fries were some of the best I’ve ever had. We were also happy to see that they serve local wines. Add the great food to the fun décor and theme, and you have probably the perfect burger experience. I think the hubby and I just found our new favorite place in Jerome.

Great! The server was super nice and helpful. The food was great too. The side salad was far above par. Highly recommend.

I wish I’d taken a picture of the main menu or someone could update the Unilocal page… If you read the descriptions you won’t eat anywhere else in Jerome and you won’t be sorry. I’m a southern girl(southeast not southwest) and I love fried green tomatoes… But I’ve been in AZ for 5 years now and I love all things SW so fried green tomatillos? Yes please! Perfect cornmeal crust, cooked golden brown… Tomatillos hold up to frying and give this southern classic a tangy zing. The chipotle remoulade rounds out the SW twist. I love burgers and the Sammie Dean… a burger with Brie and apples plus an apricot-jalapeño jelly… Perfect blend of sweet and savory. The Gypsie Bowl is more of a salad with fresh baby kale, spinach and micro greens(water cress), tomatoes, purple onion, feta, chick peas, avacodo, bacon crumbles drizzled with balsamic served with slices of grilled French bread. Really perfect. Great place for the carnivore whose dating a healthy eater… Everyone can be happy here.

This place is a delightful new restaurant in town(a year old, but we only visit every blue moon-around 2 years ago was the last time). The food is wonderful, healthy and there is a delightful array of options to please the vegetarian/vegan palate as well. The ambiance is quaint with local artist décor on the walls and a nice eclectic mix of music playing in the background. The usual stop used to be Grapes, but I think this will be our go-to spot whenever we decide to return!

Wow wow wow! The vibe, the décor, the customer service, the food! Where do I begin? Beware, lengthy review here. I Unilocaled this place before my annual trip to Sedona. We always stop in Jerome, but we don’t usually eat. This time we planned to grab some lunch. We came on a sunday around 4pm and there was no one else there but my three person party the lovely red-headed waitress(who I enjoyed speaking with so much that I forgot to ask her name) and the cooks in the back. It’s next door to the flat iron, pretty easy to find. Local art on the display and for sale, a bordello themed menu, a unique shelf of books and a quirky floor plan like most places in jerome. It is small. I tables only seat 4. I especially loved the bathroom door drags because of the uneven floor, from the shift of the uneven foundation of this mining town. I am always on the hunt for unique food or just a new twist to an old favorite. I am also one of those people who don’t go on vacation and go to McDonald’s or some other restaurant I might eat back home. I also dislike traditional burgers because they are dressed with nothing I enjoy(ew ketchup, ew pickles, etc) so I normally don’t buy burgers out. I also can’t afford outrageously expensive food, but an 11 buck entrée is do-able. This place fit the bill. I had checked out the menu via the internet and decided I wanted to try the sammie dean burger with the rebel fries. It is a mostly burger(beef, bison) menu, but there are unique vegetarian options some small bites and appetizers. Gluten free buns are here! The menu is online, so please check it. The sammie dean burger was the best idea I ever had and I wish I made my burgers like this. I split it with my husband, it was a decent sized burger for lunch time. Green apples are genius and the brioche was grilled! The rebel fries are what i always want at restaurants but never have the option. We also got the fried green tomatillos, which were perfectly crispy and the chipotle mayo was delicious and I am a mayo hater. The waitress was so friendly and approachable and also accommodating for my son. We were trying to give him a drink of water(he’s 1 years old) and she offered a cup with a straw and a lid followed by a Styrofoam bowl because she saw me holding an ice cube for him to play with. We made some small talk about living in a unique place all their life and it was all puppy dogs and rainbows for a moment. I will definitely return, possibly before we leave back home and maybe on Thursday to see the Ukulele orchestra. Go! It was so good!

If you want to experience a food orgasim this is the place! Stuffed mushrooms with jalapeño cream cheese drizzled with a balsamic reduction in a bed of spinach and avocado… need I say more? Ok, well I will. Mouthwatering hamburger on a brioche bun topped in blue cheese and and sautéed mushrooms. The ambiance of this place I just love, but don’t want to describe it because it won’t do it just. Let’s just say this place is so good I’m going back for dinner because I’m also in love with their small but excellent bar.

very cool spot.. great menu with handful of items that you wont find at any old burger joint. Food was fresh staff was friendly. Reasonably priced menu especially for touristy city like Jerome. We had a buffalo burger and bison burger. I would definitley get the buffalo again.

This funky little burger spot touts an ultra-unique mix of old west brothel and kitschy art studio all in one space. Rock music and local paintings fuze with rich western history to create a one of a kind dining experience. The menu items are named after notable ladies of the night, especially the interesting selection of burgers. However, make no mistake: they are slinging top notch food here! I had the pleasure of eating the lean mistress(bison) burger with a side of rebel(50⁄50 sweet potato/steak fry mix) fries. The burger came out a perfect medium, sitting atop a pillowy soft fresh brioche bun, and accompanied by arugula, spinach, tomatoes, and red onions. The top of the burger had a healthy serving of spicy, tangy, creamy chipotle mayo, which tied everything together with a snappy bite of picante. The patty was extremely juicy, and it was more rich and beefy than gamey. The fries were crispy, hot, and well seasoned outside and silky and moist inside. Despite the comical subject matter and ambience, this joint is serving some serious chow! Add to that the exceptional service and unique theme, and you’re definitely talking about a five star burger spot.

I know everyone flocks to the haunted hamburger, but I’ll tell you right now that should not be your first choice. Although a smaller establishment, they more than make up for it with there menu. I had one of the best burgers(the Nora) I’ve had in quite a while. Also, the service was awesome. Our server was named Kate and she was not just friendly, but also funny and great to chat with. I highly recommend this place and will be surely coming to try them again!

Burgers, bison, and boobs in an old brothel — It’s great. We both had the Madame Pearl, a bison burger with blue cheese, bacon, and chipotle mayo on a brioche bun with«rebel fries»(sweet and regular fries for the indecisive glutton). The mayo had a great kick to it and the bison was prepared at a perfect medium. The fries were tasty and the décor was engaging. We’ll definitely come back to try everything else on the menu as it all sounded fantastic.

We decided to visit Jerome this weekend and I have no regrets! Jerome is such a cute, ghost town with amazing shops, wineries, and restaurants. While wine tasting, we were recommended by this place from a local and instead of going to the restaurant with the most reviews on Unilocal,I’ll go with what the local recommends. Besides, I might be waiting for a table. When we got to Bordello, there was no one in the restaurant which was a surprise. I didn’t care though because I was hungry anyway. My partner and I ordered the Nora burger with fries! The burger was tasty. My partner was happy. My belly was happy. Not only that, our wallet was happy too!

Cute little place on the Main Street. Bottom of the hill next to flatiron. Easy to miss if you are not looking hard. Red letters on the window. My family got the«Nora» & «Jenny» burgers, both were great. Nora is got a kick to it with the jalapeño. Jenny had a real fresh taste with the melted brie + apple slices. Awesome place to stop by!
