A Small Green Space was easily one of the best contractors we have worked with since buying and renovating our 100+ year-​old home in Jersey City.
Emma and her builder transformed our entire backyard, which is quite large by Jersey City standards. Together they created the perfect space for our family, and for the property itself.
The quality of the design and construction work was high. Emma’s responsiveness to our needs, questions and concerns was fast and thorough. And the value of the end result is astounding — it was a solid investment in improving our property and our daily lives.
We would (and have) recommended A Small Green Space without hesitation.

Emma has transformed our Jersey City backyard from a complete mess to an urban oasis. Her design capitalized on the width of our backyard and the way she laidout the new backyard allows us to have a nice, small garden, a deck, and a play area for our kids. The transformation of our dilapitated backyard to our little oasis in the busy city has been wonderful and Emma did an excellent job in designing, creating, and building our backyard.
