Went here around the end of March for some sandals. I was going on vacation and needed some nice shoes. I went in and waited about 15 minutes. The two women working were busy, so I decided to look elsewhere and come back. Came back about 15 minutes later. There were now more employees, so I figured someone would be able to help me now. No, I was very wrong. I waited another half hour, the employees looked right at me, rolled there eyes, and kept ignoring me. They were clearly not helping anyone else. I finally got fed up, that’s when someone finally decided to help me. Only when they saw I was going to spend money did they help, and they all kissed my ass. The woman I believe was the manager came out to help, when only five minutes before she was doing everything to ignore me. I would have gone somewhere else in the mall, but I didn’t see anything I liked. Thats why I gave them 1 star, at least they had a nice selection of shoes. If you do go here, don’t wear sweat pants, they will ignore you. They shouldn’t have been so quick to judge me based on my appearance, especially since I was one of the only people that actually bought something, AND I spent close to $ 1,000.(The shoes were cheap, and yes I have a shoe addiction.) Guess that’s what I get for going to Newport. Definitely won’t be going back. I’ll stick with Garden State Plaza.

Spent a chunk of time browsing on a relatively busy day and 2 different employees greeted me/offered to help. I have a great pair of Aldo boots from a few seasons ago that I want to replace, but this day they didn’t have what I was looking for. 3 stars for polite and un-pushy service. If I shop and make a purchase, I’ll update my review accordingly.

I get tricked by Aldo every time. The shoes catch your eye because they’re trendy and they have a huge variety. But then you buy a pair and realize it’s cheap, there’s no support/comfort whatsoever, and they start falling apart as soon as you walk out the door… Bought a pair of boots there and wore through the soles in about 4 months. The other kicks looked nice for about a week. The cleaner they sold me with the shoes ruined the fabric the first time I used it. Now maybe I just walk a lot, but that’s not something I can exactly avoid near the city. I happen to like walking everywhere. Aldo, however, I can avoid. Sorry bro
