I am so glad I found Ernie. I just moved in down the block and this is my new barber, I will not go anywhere else. He is a true master of his craft. He takes his time and you do not feel rushed at all. $ 15 is a steal. There is another barber as well that looks like he caters to the younger crowd for fades, shape-​ups, and beards — but I am going to stick with Ernie!

Ernesto is the best, tho. Randomly walked in one day and he treated me like I’d been going there for years. Gave me an excellent hair cut, exactly what I wanted, and promised the next cut would be even better — and it was. He’s prompt, precise and clearly cares a great deal about his craft. His prices are also incredibly fair. I can’t recommend him enough.

Ernie does a great job. I’ve been getting my hair cut there for the past year and he’s always courteous and friendly. He’s been cutting hair since the 60s and knows his stuff. Cut is $ 12 and worth every cent. Cash only.

Earnie is the best barber I have been to. Period. He takes his time and makes sure that all the lines are just right. He ends every cut with a touch up with warm shaving cream and a NEW razor. Has my highest regard and recommendation.

Ernie has been my sole barber for over 8 years. He’s good with all types of hair– with scissors and clippers. After the haircut, he does a final touch with a single-​blade razor and hot shaving cream.
Average haircut is $ 15 but well worth the price.
Tip: Be prepared to wait a bit especially on Saturdays. Ernie takes his time and gives 100%.

A good barbershop overall. A good place to stop in for a cut or shave in the heart of jersey city. I have been coming here for a couple of years and the barbers have never messed up on my beard or hair (when I had some lol).
The one downfall is they close at 6−7pm on most days and depending on what service you are receiving the price may be a bit steep. But, overall your experience will be good here!
