Put it this way. 7 troy ounces of silver and 3.1gms .9999 Gold $ 40. At least I wasn’t charged fees when I took it out the following week.

Went in to replace batteries, get new bands and repair several watches ranging from cheap(Akteo) to expensive(Omega). I was a bit hesitant not going to «official» dealers for service, but within 5 minutes, David had replaced batteries in five watches, added a new band on another and quoted me on fixing a clasp(which I picked up good-as-new later that week). All was done professionally and for a very reasonable price. He even recounted a story about a little-known Swiss maker of one of my watches where I used to live — he obviously knows his stuff. Highly recommended and will definitely be going back.

One of the rudest and most unprofessional businesses I’ve ever dealt with… in the past few months. Ha! I came here to pawn a Jimi Hendrix 1968 Stratocaster. Lol just kidding! And if I did, I would NEVER bring that guitar to this dump. I came here to pawn a couple of things and I wanted to see what I could get for the them. Before I came to Jemma, I researched the watch to get an idea of how much it was worth. I found the same watch online(from a reputable site) selling the watch for more than what I expected. So with that information in hand I was ready to negotiate. In no way was I expecting to get the same amount for the watch but if I did, it would have been nice. I walked into Jemma and everyone was into their Ipods, computers, and magazines. After about a minute, one man asked, «How can I help you?» I told him I wanted to pawn a watch and a gold bracelet. I gave him the watch first and he asked me what did I want for the watch. I told him after doing some research online, this same watch was going for… but before I could say the price he said the watch was broken. I said no its not, its just missing a pin in the band. Then he hushed. Come on dude! Are you really going to exaggerate and make the situation worse than what it is? The oldest trick in the book. Anyways, I told him how much it was selling online and he threw my watch on the counter and said, «I’m not giving you that price.» Hmmm, all I said was this was the price that this watch was going for. I never said this was the price I wanted. But I guess he wasn’t in the mood to negotiate. Probably it was because I called him on his b.s. re «broken watch». Whatever! Lovet: 1 Jemma: 0 I then gave him my gold bracelet. I asked him for his best price. His price was ok but I knew I could get more. I already didn’t like his terrible attitude so I took my stuff and walked away. I will never come here again. Jemma Loan Co. is a joke.
