Jersey Time Photo

Used them at a wedding for a photo booth. Let’s just cut to the chase here. There are PLENTY of photo booth companies in the tri-​state area and this company is the worst of all that I’ve ever had any personal experience with. If that seems too broad of a statement, I’m happy to provide my accurate first-​hand experience that will support my opinion.
Off the bat, the photos are poor quality. Just look at their site. The photos are blurry, the lighting is poor and you can only get 3 or 4 people in a photo without it being squished and the photo just turning out messy at that point. Most booths can get at least a group of 6 and then you can squeeze in some more easily. If you don’t feel that this is accurate, just check out the photos on their site. Easy.
But it doesn’t end at bad photos. The employees are horrible to their customer. They live in a different world and it is clear that they don’t understand how events work. I have first-​hand experience of how they’re rude, they threaten their customers, and (my favorite) they chased down the (pretty drunk) bride and groom to get a tip at the end of the night. I personally witnessed all of this. May I add that they were already tipped appropriately, even though they were the only vendor that caused problems for that wedding. We shouldn’t have even tipped them. Check their website again, they will charge your credit card if they don’t get tipped. In all of the events I’ve ever experienced, I’ve never personally witnessed something as unprofessional as a vendor exploiting the bride and groom by chasing them across the room for more tip money. Almost forgot to add that I was personally threatened by Jersey Time Photo that if I broke the contract that they would take it to court. They very proudly stated to me that they had done this before and «always win». The people at Jersey Time Photo are on another level.
Now let’s talk about price. They’re only slightly higher than other great companies in NJ. Their packages seem reasonable, right? But then you look at the add ons. They charge you extra for EVERYTHING. $ 125 to have someone stand there and glue photos into a $ 10 book. $ 35 to get a copy of your own photos. Props are extra, not standard. There’s even extra charges if you have over 100 people. What?!? There’s no disputing how high the costs are– just go to their website and there is your proof. This is the only photobooth company I’ve ever had first-​hand consumer experience with that was not «all inclusive». In my personal experience, this company acted aggressively to get a contract signed so they could «lock in the date». Only after that point were all of the add-​ons made aware to me, which is also when the «We will take you to court» threats began. Make sure you check the site so that you are informed! They were very sneaky with me. In the end, the overall cost was near double that of any other photobooth company I’ve ever had experience with.
So you pay more money… for bad photos? Oh and the bad attitude comes along for free. What a bargain! As a consumer with personal experience with this company, my recommendation is to pass on these clowns.

I wish there was a 0 star this company don’t deserve not even a 1 star, they are a thief they made me fill out the contract in order to give a confirmation of a date then came back with double the price adding on all kind of stuff, of course I canceled within 5 minutes and they said I was basically trapped into a contract and they were sending me to collection and charged the required deposit to my credit card which I’m disputing and reporting to Groupon, also Better Business Bureau. .DON’T USE THIS PEOPLE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET ROBBED****%#£€$, £ #
