So, I loved Kennedy, I did. I will still occasionally go there for things. My husband and I decided to buy a «Woodpeckers» wardrobe there. It looked good and the quality of press board furniture was really really good for the price. We were guaranteed that the quality was good. When we got home, all the pieces were busted and there were even pieces that were completely different finishes(white with the rest of the closet being black) and holes drilled completely wrong in the pieces that needed to be assembled together. Nothing lined up. We came back with our reciept and they refused to return it. Said that once we bought it we were on our own. They guy that sold it to us and kept saying it was made in the USA. As if made in the USA automatically meant it was quality and there couldn’t possibly be anything wrong. We contacted the company and they sent us replacement pieces 3TIMES and it was STILL wrong. So basically, I lit a match to 200.00 when I bought something from Kennedy because they were unwilling to help us, even when the vendor was incompetent. No closet. Still searching for another one. Their customer service needs to be better if they’re selling junk parts.

This place rocks! I got my curtains, bedspreads, wall decorations and much more here. If you can’t afford that pricey home decorative look, this is the place for you. You actually find stuff here that looks expensive, but is very affordable. I love this place! As for the clothing, there are times you will find something nice, but its not the place to get stylish clothes. If you go there go for the home decorations and up keep.

This place has it all! Definitely the best of the discount stores on Central Ave. I use it for kitchen stuff mostly, but they also have a good selection of bathroom stuff and some hardwhere. Good example, the felt furniture strips you put on your furniture so you don’t scratch your floors; get them here and not at home depot or target and you’ll save a lot. I disagree with Hank C. about Target being cheaper, and I love me some Target. I think their kitchen stuff is nicer and better quality(so perhaps it’s worth it), but Kennedy’s is always cheaper for stuff like that.

Well, this reminds me of a slightly larger version of the local hardware/home supply shop with a bunch of clothing tacked on. I guess the other comparison is like a micro version of a Walmart, just more expensive in every way. There’s some clothing here for the local residents to peruse through, but I’d recommend getting your home supplies elsewheres — it’s 20−30% more expensive than at the Targets within a mile or so of here. If you have no where else to go, you have no choice, I suppose, and you can find everything from storage, mops, cookware, microwaves, clothing, soap, and more here. The cashier’s in the far back, by the way. Street parking is free Sundays and after 6p all other days.
