I took a class this summer, a Mondays in August beginners class. It was fun and educational, but I’m really disappointed because I haven’t been able to reach anyone at the office. It was a religious holiday on my last class and in the week prior I emailed the office asking if I could make up the class on Thursday or Friday (their other group classes). No response. I emailed twice that week and once the following week, after my missed class came and went. Still no response. I’m less concerned about the fact that I missed one class though, than the fact that I signed up to take the ASA test for $ 50 and now I don’t know how to take it. I’d rather take it than get my money back but neither are an option because I can’t reach anyone! This is my last desperate attempt to get in touch somehow.

I took the weeknight Basic Sailing course from Manhattan Sailing School and absolutely loved it! I had never sailed before and really loved being out on the water getting hands-​on experience with a great instructor. I learned all of the basics and had plenty of time at the helm as well as other parts of the boat. I’ll for sure be back again next year.

I took the Basic Sailing certification class and had a terrific time. Manhattan Sailing School was professional and organized throughout the entire experience, from their electronic communications with me before the weekend of the class to the onboard instruction. Highly recommend this as a really unique way to spend a weekend and to get an introduction to the world of sailing!
