Nimbus Dance Works

I first encountered Nimbus at a local street fair. I had been looking for a new dance school to place my youngest daughter into. The previouse dance school I had her older sister in was very «commercial». I felt the emphasis was placed on overpriced dance costumes and pictures. I wanted something more structured and instructional and do away with all the «fluff». I wanted my daughter to love the art of dance and I wasn’t seeing that in the previous school. When I checked out Nimbus, I immediately loved the atmosphere! Since the school is in conjunction with a dance company, the instruction and professionalism was impressive. The teachers themselves are members of the dance company which is an advantage to the students! My daughter was 4 yrs when she first started at Nimbus and as you can imagine, a young class like that would be a hand full. However, I was impressed on how the teachers handled themselves and the children to get them involved and and keep their attention span which is hard at that age. My daughter has since participated in an end of year recital as well as in the Nutcracker this past holiday alongside the dance company. The talent displayed is so inspiring and I am so priveleged to be a part of it! My daughter, along with her older sister, will be entering her second year at Nimbus at their new dance space, and we are absolutely excited!
