Pathetic. I went to see Dr. Patel because I needed a new primary care doctor for my new«insurance»(HMO). His office staff are very friendly(that’s what the one star is for), but as soon as I was seated next to him in his office, his cell phone rang and he had to take a five-minute call. He assured me that it was very important relating to heart surgery. Oh yeah, cardiologists have NOBUSINESS treating primary care patients and he had the balls to complain about the $ 50 he was getting paid for seeing me. He took NO history, and the only vitals were blood pressure and breath sounds. He clearly has an incredibly limited understanding of specialties outside of his own. I needed prior authorization for one of my medications and when it was denied I called the insurance company and they told me he hadn’t even filled out large parts of the form. Malpractice, much?

Worst Dr ever. I went for the first time, no vital signs were taken. He just gave me a prescription to get lab work done. This was over a week ago. I called to verify my hemoglobin blood count as per I am anemic and rude clerk said«dr on vacation I can not tell you anything» I explained to her about my condition and requested my own results and she said that she was not giving me anything. I called the police and will be there with them at 4pm.
