The Nail Loft

Great place!!! Clean, affordable, beautiful and chic, great customer service, friendly, polite, funny… AND parking!!! I’ll refer everyone!
Update: almost 4 weeks later and other than growth my nails are still looking intact! Quality work… now in for my appointment this afternoon!

I was very excited when I found out the Nail Loft was opening. I scheduled by first appointment on ⁰²⁄₀₅. I went in for a gel mani. These were going to be my Valentine Nails. As you can see my ring finger lifted and half already peeled off. That finger also had a $ 3.00 design on it. My middle and index finger are also lifting from the sides. On my right hand my pinky and middle finger are also lifting. This sucks because this is a very beautiful and sheek place. I’ve went to other salons and gotten gel manicures and they lasted well over 2 weeks. The only reason I would have to go back it because of my nail growth.

I contacted the nail loft via instagram. The person who replied was nice enough to offer me to come back in to have my nails re-​done. She pull me in for a ⁰²⁄₁₂ appointment @ 1:30pm. Once I got there I was asked to pick out a color & sit down as the person I had an appointment with was «finishing up.» It was then 2pm still waiting. Mind you I was on my 1 hour lunch break. I was never acknowledged again since I sat down. I got up and left. They lost a customer and I’ll be sure not to recommend this place to anyone.

Not great. Just OK. Since it’s new I’ll give this salon another try in a couple of months. Management is great. If your looking for a place that does nail designs or nail art make sure they pair you up with someone who’s skilled or you will be disappointed.

What a great find! The salon is so nice and the staff is friendly and accommodating. I can’t say enough nice things about my experience. The prices are great and there is a parking lot! Highly recommend.

This place is fantastic! I’ve stopped by twice for a manicure and I’ve gotten excellent service from both Angelica and Roxana– I would definitely recommend their work to anyone that decides to stop by. I especially love how they all maintain proper hygienic practices. When Roxana was working on my manicure, I couldn’t help but notice how wonderful her eyebrows looked and she told me that it was their own on-​site eyebrow tech, Pam, that did the fabulous job. Naturally, I got my eyebrows done as soon as my nails were dry. Pam was excellent! She definitely took her time to make sure that my eyebrows were perfectly threaded and I’m truly thankful for that. I recently purchased a house in Newark and will no longer reside in the JC area, BUT I’ll definitely be sure to stop by the Nail Loft for all my nail and eyebrow needs.

This place is absolutely incredible from the high ceilings, to the chandeliers, to the services and even their bathrooms are so cute! I got a gel manicure done both times I went, first with Danielle and next with Ana and they did an amazing job. The employees are extremely sweet and friendly. The supplies they use are clean and they use a new and individualized nail filer and buffer for each customer that is yours to keep once you are done. I have also had my eyebrows done and they put witch hazel and aloe vera on your skin once you’re done, which is great for people who have sensitive skin. Finally, I have utilized their waxing services as well and it is one of the most sanitary places you will visit. Felicia did my wax and I did not feel a thing. She used a pre-​treatment as well as a post-​treatment oil and I did not feel any pain at all.
The place is clean and looks gorgeous from the inside out. When I went to this salon, I felt like I was in a NYC salon that has great décor, chandeliers, and open space. It is hard to go to a salon that is gorgeous yet affordable at the same time.
This is a great new addition to Jersey City and I would definitely recommend this place!

It was my first time here! I had an amazing gel mani with Danielle L., she is truly the greatest Always tells me what she recommends for my nails and they come out stunning each time. I would recommend her 1000X over!
The place it’s self is beautiful. Great decorations and a wonderful atmosphere. You will definitely love just coming here getting pampered and relaxing!
Will be back for a mani and pedi next time!

This is my first Unilocal review ever and this place deserves it. You walk in and it’s clean and beautifully decorated. All their lotions and scrubs are organic. Their scrubbers are disposable and they give them to you to take home. It’s such a relaxing environment. You honestly forget your in the Heights. A total gem. They even have phone chargers on every chair.
Felicia did my nails and she is fab! One toenail didn’t dry well and she repainted it on her own accord. No laziness. So glad this place now exists in the neighborhood! Cute, clean and affordable!
