The review is for the service, not the food, as apparently I was never afforded the opportunity of eating any of it. Waited patiently in their dining area for someone to wait on me, yelled HELLO several times, went back out the front door and back in again (thinking they may have some kind of alarm), and eventually just walked out (through the back door, past their take out counter, where there still was no one to be found, although I could hear talking from the kitchen). I’m guessing they must cater more to their phone in take out orders. Maybe I should have called from their dining room.

UGH. I miss No. One Chinese so much since moving to Birmingham, AL. I have been to more Chinese places here than I can count on my fingers and toes, but nothing compares to you.

Jersey Shore, PA
By far the best authentic chinese food in the area. I’ve eaten at Chinese restaurants at countless places in Pennsylvania such as Pittsburgh and Philly, and in my opinion nothing compares to number 1 Chinese. They live up to the name! The staff speaks fairly broken English but are extremely friendly! Also, the portions are huge and the prices are reasonable. I strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

One of the best Chinese places around. Everything is cooked to order with very reasonable prices. The staff speaks limited English but is always very friendly. Have had a lot of things off the menu and everything has been good, although I didn’t care for their white sauce on the chicken with Chinese vegetables. Szechuan Double Taste is probably one of my fiancée and I’s favorites. They have good General Tso’s too. Highly recommended.
