When deciding how many stars to give a place I’m always torn by what measurement I should be using. The sign on the building does say fine dinning and while that may lead some to expect a certain level of service & quality, I need to point out, this isn’t New York City. I was not expecting to find a Michelin rated establishment in Jersey Shore, nor should you think my 5 stars are implying that. However what I am contenting is that for the price and quality, of what is around the rest of the town, I’ve found no reason to remove one, or two stars. While I have a feeling that most of the business this place might do comes from the rather full bar stools in the front, I was happy to find that they were still serving food a little later in the evening and even with just a single bartender as a waitress, we were still getting good service for what I would consider being short staffed. I’m not going to rave about the spaghetti and say it was the best ever, but it was a lot, my kids liked it and the meatballs were good. The appetizers were good and I liked my burger. The Inn has a nice patio that overlooks an old train depot, turned farm supply store and the view at sunset are nice. We were also not the only people with children there, so earlier on bring the family. Let me just add, if you’re from this area(I was just passing through while working on a project called ), you don’t have to many places to eat like this, I counted one other. Everything is fast food for the most part. If you’ve eaten here give this place a review so travelers going down the highway know there’s a decent place to eat in this town. Other words you’re going to be left with just a subway. I need to add a note to this review. Part of this review may sound like a slight on the town of Jersey Shore, but please believe me, it is just a comparison between realistic expectations in a small town, vs. major metropolitan area.

On their sign it has the slogan«Fine Food»…they need to remove fine. Took forever to even get a basket of wings to the table. 2 of the 4 got sick.
