Barber Plus

I have been coming to this Barber shop for about a year and have had pleasant experiences with many of the barbers. They are attentive and always work hard to give you your desired haircut. If I notice anything is off I feel comfortable enough to let them know as they will correct it immediately. I came in wanting a more modern haircut as they do need to update their hairstyles, but I was very satisfied with the results! Great service.

I wanted to give this place a chance. I looked at a few outdate reviews and I was certain that overtime things had improved. I never judge a Barber shop based on how full the shop is because given the time it may be the slow period of the day but there was no one in there. I asked the barber if he could cut my hair down using a 1 ½ with tapered sideburns and fade in the back. He assured me he would have no issues with this. Mind you I get my hair cut like this all the time using the same terminology where I go. The man started to cut my hair and I soon realized he was not following any patter. He cut with the grain and right next to the same area he would cut against the grain. then across. But since I saw that he was older I figured this was just his method. Soon he started to taper my sideburns but I realized he was going around my entire head (Not what I ASKED) but I had to let him finish because of how he started. I looked in the mirror the entire time and I saw that my air was uneven in many places. Also the fade on the left side of my head was clearly higher than on the right. I mentioned this to him and without looking at my head he said it was fine. HUH? so I had to ask him to look at how high it was using the length of my fingers to measure. When I asked him if he would correct the unevenness by going over my hair again he stated «I already go over it once». So what’s your point? Why not get it right lol I asked twice before he went over it again and this actually solved the issue somewhat. Im not sure if he cuts many black guys heads but it seemed as if he wasn’t comfortable. This was the most difficult and unsatisfying haircut and barber I have ever encountered.

This place blows. Out of three haircuts only one was decent. The first one. The second time the sideburns were not aligned. One of the sideburns was at sloped instead of a straight line. I had to go back to fix it after going home.

I went here when the place at the mall messed up my hair something awful. This place is the place to go, always! 12 dollars, great barbers, no lines on the fade and a straight blade on the neck. Did I mention 12 dollars!!! THANK YOU!!!

— Only knows how to cut a faux hawk one way — too short on top!
— If you want to describe a fashionable haircut you would be better off showing them a picture.

One major plus about this barber shop is that it’s open 7 days a week. The staff are super friendly and quick. I often see children here, as well, so it is a child-​friendly barber shop. Another plus is that it’s located right next door to Dunkin Donuts/​Baskin Robbins, which is great for kids (an ice-​cream following a haircut is our usual routine). I bring my son here and have never had a negative experience. The hours are as follow:
M-​F — 10 – 7:30
Sat. — 10:6
Sun. — 10 – 3:30

Been taking my son here for years to Mr. Ba. He does a really good job and is super patient. He endures my meticulous inspections of his handiwork with a forced smile! No really, he is a very nice man and does a good job for 11 buckaroos! Make sure you ask him for the #24… check out the pictures on the wall to see what I’m talking about. LOL

Great barber shop! Open 7 days a week. Great service. Professionally run.
