The food we were served was extraordinarily great – real pallet pleaders! My wife’s Seared Salmon BLT was off the charts! I only had a chicken Caesar Salad, but thoroughly enjoyed it. So, why only two stars? Service! And I don’t mean a criticism of the waitress; she did the best she could with what she had to work with. One meal came out 8 — 10 minutes after we ordered, the next in another 10 minutes or so, and so forth. There were 10 of us and the 10th person got their food after 1−½ hours! The waitress who was new, was told it was because the 4 couples and two singles asked for separate checks – a total of6 checks. So, if we all came in as couples and two singles at six tables, one of us would have their dinner 1−½ hours later? Outrageous! Sort — TWOSTARSFORYOU!

So this is the ‘restaurant’ inside the Holiday Inn. I only ate here for breakfast because it was included in the room rate. Breakfast was what’s to be expected in a hotel. They had full continental options and hot options as well. Pretty much everything you could want unless you had certain dietary restrictions. Also, the ‘service’ can be a bit slow but it’s only because there’s only 1 person working the entire place. Out of the 9 days I stayed here and ate breakfast, I think I only saw a manager one time. I did see people here for dinner/happy hour but personally, I’d rather venture outside of the hotel when I can.

Dinner Food is decent. Once you can order it and get it. Took 20 minutes for someone to come take my drink order. I ordered my food at the same time fearful that it would take forever to have my food order taken. Delivery of food wasn’t too bad. Had to track someone down to get my check. Really no atmosphere making you feel welcomed. Breakfast buffet is pretty much the exact same thing every day. Two types of scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, biscuits and gravy, French toast and potatoes. Of coarse they also have the usual yogurt fruit bagels toast etc. The waitress in the morning is about the only person that knows what customer service means. Quick with a good morning making you feel welcomed. Brings you coffee and juice and even asks if you would like a cup to take your coffee with you.

This is the bar/restaurant inside the holiday in and a major remodel was recently completed. S0– * Everything is bright and fresh and new. * Speaking of bright; the bar area is as bright as a desert at high-noon. It’s really strange and too bright for me. * The drinks were well priced and the bartender was friendly. * Some of the new booths have individual TVs you can control yourself. Very cool! * In the morning you can choose between a served breakfast or a buffet. That’s a nice convenience! I suspect that this place will do a decent job of meeting the needs of most guests.
