I am SHOCKED that this place receives such good reviews. Every time I have been to this store, the proprietor has been dismissive, short and borderline hostile. I have continued shopping there only because of the convenient location, however, after today’s experience I plan on never returning. There are countless other liquor stores in the area and I’d rather give my business to any one of them.

The most clean & organize liquor store I’ve been too! Not to mention tons of beer, wine, & liquor selections. Staff are very friendly & knowledgeable about the products, ask them for recommendations.

This is the place to go if you’re looking for a wide beer selection. There are 2 full aisles of bottles and six packs (and 4 pack) from around the globe with a variety of every beer style. Plus a full aisle of cooler doors dedicated to keeping packages cold. They are also great at providing recommendations if you want to explore new beer styles or just a new beer in your favorite style. Two thumbs up for Max’s.

Only place in johns creek worth visiting for beer or wine. Their wine, liquor and craft beer selection is pretty large and there are no other stores around that offer anything close. Also, you ask the owner for something you don’t see on the shelf and he can get it from his distributor then he will stock it.

Nice liquor store. Clean, organized, and the staff is much friendlier than my usual liquor store. I need to start going here. I was here to buy scotch for a friend and the owner helped me quite a bit, and pointed me to a solid bottle that was in my price range. Friendly and knowledgeable and refreshing. I hope these guys are here for a long, long time.

Nice selection of liquor and variety. Fairly priced for what it is in the heart of Johns Creek. Clean and big too! It’s very organized compared to some hole-​in-​the wall package stores I’ve seen. Max’s bottle shop is great and the people here are too.
